Years have passed and I've become more quiet and extremely protective about my friends. Halfway through the years, we soon met and befriended Hachi the fishman octopus. I love it when Camie and Hachi make food together because it tastes incredible! I've changed the clothes that I used to wear and put on something more comfortable and what others call more appropriate and breathable.

I've started to braid my hair into a ponytail when I'm above water and pull the top half of my hair back and into a ponytail so I can always see and not have to worry about it getting caught on something or getting in the way

I've started to braid my hair into a ponytail when I'm above water and pull the top half of my hair back and into a ponytail so I can always see and not have to worry about it getting caught on something or getting in the way.

I've apparently developed this habit of whenever I'm annoyed or angry, my tail starts moving around in random directions, specially up and down and depending on how annoyed or angry I feel, along with my pupils shining. I sometimes realize that I'm doing it but I just deny it just to get a reaction.

"Hey (Y/n)!" Camie calls me, swinging up to me. She looked excited about something.

"What's up?"

"Let’s have a contest!"

"What kind of contest?" This got my attention real fast.

"Let's see who can swim the fastest and dive out the water the highest! How does that sound?" Camie asks me.

"Diving out the water is a bit risky and dangerous, especially for people like us. So I don't really know.." I answered.

"There’s barely any ship traveling through here anymore. Plus we’re near the Calm Belt so no ships can reach us without the wind!" Camie tries persuading me.

"I'll have to agree with (Y/n) on this, even though there's less people sailing through here we should still be careful." Pappagu backs me up. "Even though both of you are too reckless, you still need to care for your own well being!"

"Awww, come on Pappagu you were supposed to back me up here!" Camie whines.

"Alright fine, but once me or Pappagu spots any kind of ship, we're leaving immediately. Understand?" I gave up.

"I understand! Now come on!" She pulls me off a rock and drags me behind her as Pappagu clinged onto my shoulder.

Camie takes us a couple feet away from the rock I was laying on and takes us to a larger area of corals. They were bigger than the ones near the rocks and had more space to squeeze through. Pappagu jumps from my shoulders to Camie's book bag and uses it like some kind of seat. Guess he wants to join the fun.

"Starting from here, we're going to swim as fast as we can to the rock that you were laying on and quickly jump out and above the water. You're not allowed to use your tail either."
