The first day back at school after the summer holidays is somehow bittersweet.

On the one hand you get to see yours friends again but it hardly seems to compare to having a summer of freedom.

The school day was already halfway over with and nothing notable had happened. It was lunch my favourite time of the day. The time when I get to hang out with my friends and survey the entire cafeteria.

Now I know that probably sounds strange but I like to consider myself a woman of few words and if you managed to get an entire conversation or opinion out of me you were considered special.
Or at least that's what I've heard. Even I admit I'm good at being invisible. Which is fine by me if rather not be involved in anything too time consuming until I got my acceptance to Julliard.

My friends were chattering away about the drama departments school show and how they were going to go to the auditions.
I normally get cast as a back ground dancer or an extra in the background of scenes.

As I said before I'm married to dance. There's not much time left for anything else with my continuous rehearsals at Harthill's dance studio and the workload of AP classes.

I was slowly nibbling my way through a bag of chips when I gazed up at precisely the same time Tyler Monroe, my favourite piece of eye candy, walked through the cafeteria doors. He wasn't alone though his wingman, Will, was walking along side him. They come as a package deal most of the time. Not that I'm complaining.

They both looked like poster boys for Hollister. I was casually checking him Tyler out the most as I knew my best friend had an obsession with Will. I'm still unsure if it's good or bad. My eyes roamed up and down Tyler's body taking in every delicious detail.

What I was doing wasn't half as bad as the centre table full of cheerleaders. It was quite a sight to witness. All of them giggling away and trying to groom themselves. Thinking that they would be more attractive. The only way that would happen is if they groomed their entire personalities. Which would probably take a couple of decades.

My gaze followed them across the cafeteria. They made their way over to sit with the rest of their friends.

They were being greeted by everyone they walked past, especially the girls. I noticed how Tyler didn't pay much attention to the stares or chatter stirred by their passing by. He just nodded his greeting or, in the case of the girls, a smirk played on his lips as he glanced over in their direction.

When they reached their table spaces for them to sit down instantly appeared. The table they were sitting at consisted of your typical gorgeous, athletic meatheads; most of them with broad shoulders and big voices.

It didn't take long before the three T's, Trina, Trisha and Tasha, made a beeline for their table. They thought of themselves as every guys wet dream and their mission at this school was to make everyone's life a nightmare, more so if you were different.

I suppose you could say that they were sitting in one of the best spots in the cafeteria. It was right next to the wall of floor to ceiling windows which allowed the sun to shine through bathing the entire cafeteria in sunlight.

The table was also equal distance from the restrooms and the lunch line. A perfect placement for a table full of guys, if you ask me.

My table was at the opposite end of the cafeteria near the exit into the hallway.
