I emerged from my bath only when the water had gone cold. That and Dexter wanted out of the bathroom; probably needing to go outside or for a drink.

I didn't see much point in waiting up for my dad to come home from the precinct. He's a detective and being on the job certainly creates a lot of paperwork he says. I think the reason he stays late is so he can call my mum from the office when she's got a spare minute.

Even though they might not see each other all that much they definitely keep the romance alive. It's rather disgusting if you ask me but I suppose I gotta give them props for not splitting when times get tough.

Believe it or not I actually had a good sleep. Well, I mean how could I not with a memory foam mattress. But what I'm saying is that I wasn't kept awake by my thought like normal. The thoughts that would've been plaguing my mind would've been of Tyler and my future in dance.

No, instead I had a frigging dream about him. The dream started off like any usual dream of mine would. I was in the dance studio practicing on a nameless solo piece. There is a particular step in this solo piece that I will never forget without fail. I've danced my way to the top left hand corner of the floor space. I take a small run to do a grand jeté* but as I go to land, I the ground goes out from under me and all I see is darkness.

However, instead of me falling into eternal darkness and waking up with a fright like normal. I land the move perfectly and I also perform an aerial cartwheel. as I turn to face the front of the room I spot Tyler on the stairs up to the office.

I freeze as I see him he makes a move towards me.

her alarm blared closely followed by her favourite radio station. At the moment it was playing what was popular in the iTunes downloads. What Bailey loved about it was the weather reports because the were so accurate. She continued to listen to music as she got up and started to get ready for school. It was her morning routine: get up; stretch; go get breakfast; feed Dexter who was, no doubt, following her; go get showered; dressed; teeth brushed; hair; makeup etc.

'That's right people. Today is going to be a scorcher. Expect the heat to reach temperatures that will break the record for the hottest day in Camden County since 1895. Please remember to slap on that sun screen and stay hydrated, as heat strokes are no joke ladies and gentleman. Don't forget to dress appropriately for the weather.' The radio host's voice cut through Bailey's thoughts and routine as she pondered on what she was going to wear. New day new start she thought. If it was going to be extremely hot Bailey decided that she was going to change her entire look.

Pulling into the car parking lot nice and early , Bailey parked in her usual spot. The reason she liked it was because of the large overgrown trees that provide a lot of shade. Especially since her car is black it is always roasted in the sun. There were only a few other cars present in the school provided parking lot, for pupils and teachers, she didn't recognise any apart from one. It was Tyler's. His cobalt blue, convertible Mercedes-Benz was parked opposite her car. Bailey thought that was strange as she normally noticed it was nearest the football field, where the rest of his friends parked their vehicles. Just as she was she stepped out of her car she saw Tyler leaning on the trunk of his car on his iPhone . One word came to Bailey's mind as her eyes roamed over every inch of his body: perfection but she wouldn't let him know she was thinking that.

'Nice car,' she said catching his attention she was on a power trip from her new look. Her loud voice caught his attention he looked up toward her. A smile appeared upon his face.

'Hmmmm, do I know you?' He said, like he was teasing her. Tyler had a smirk plastered on his face.

'Maybe you should,' Bailey answered obviously flirting with him. There weren't many people around causing Bailey to feel a little more freedom than usual. Walking over to stand beside him.
