Annabeth POV

"Hey babe, you wanna go out?"

That was basically all I heard all month at SFH, or San Francisco High(totally made that up), but of course, but always refused. In fact, I learned a lot of snarky remarks and comebacks from Piper and made some of my own. Here is an example:

"Hey babe, wanna hang out?"
"Okay, but can I choose the place?"
"Sure, where?"
"How about where the sun don't shine?" Then I kicked him there.
(A/N: I know it's really bad, but I just had to do it. I'm sorry!)

Ah, good times. I guess you heard from Percy that the Mist is gone. Now, mortals are getting even more annoying. Here, I went by Annabeth Wells. Anyways, I was in the bathroom, washing my hands just before school started when an IM appeared. It was Chiron.

"Hello, Annabeth!"
"Hi!"
"The demigod has been found. You may now reveal yourself, or simply just leave."
"Thank you!"

I was about to dissolve it when I saw Percy in the background. He was doing his classic troublemaker smile.

"Guess who found her, Wise Girl? That's right, I did! Go me! go me!" Percy cheered.

I face-walled. (A/N: When face palms just aren't enough) Ugh, now I owe him 50 drachmas. "Seaweed Brain" I thought, rolling my eyes.

I dissolved the IM, not taking anymore of Percy's nonsense, but I still couldn't wait to see him. I sent an IM to Nico before leaving the bathroom.

I was just walking out of the school, not bothering revealing myself, because we were learning about me in class and the school would freak out if they discovered that I was the Annabeth Chase. I was just strolling out when a hellhound appeared right in the entrance courtyard where everyone hung out before school. I defeated it in seconds, but I was revealed in front of almost the whole school. They were all gaping at me. I sighed, knowing what was coming.

"Hi, you know me by Annabeth Wells, but actually, I'm the Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. I will not say my formal title because I'm sure you will all learn about me in class. Anyways, bye!" I said as I went to a just materializing Nico and shadow traveled away to Camp Half Blood.
