Amanda's Pov

Arriving at the food court we expected to leave immediately because my twin and I were done with our shopping assuming that while we were gone they were doing some shopping of their own but was that the case NO apparently they've been waiting on us to finish our shopping so that we could all go with Chris and I tagging along. this day is just ugh
"we usually separate when we go shopping girl's with mom and boy's with me" Frank spoke up suppressing the urge to laugh out loud I call BS they trying to separate us.

I looked around and noticed that everyone was good at keeping their faces void from any kind of emotion expect for one half sister Isabella obviously her dad's announcement didn't just come as surprise to us but to her too adien must've noticed me looking at her so he poked her she quickly fixed her confused face "finally it won't be just me and mom in our club" speedy recovery but too late already caught on
Chris and I turned to each other at the same time we've been apart and around other people but only people we know and trust but this time it's different and I could sense Chris's overprotective side coming out I don't like the idea too but our grandparents asked us to try and I can't let them down we'll have to try at least and like he read my mind

At the mention of our grandparents his face soften a bit he knows I'm so he reluctantly agreed we turned back to everyone and they quickly shuffled pretending like they were doing ear dropping smh I stood up I looked in Linda's and Isabella's direction "Shall we" Lina visibly relaxed Isabella jumped up and down excited "Welcome to the club okay let's go ooh my gosh I'm so excited we going to get sister matching bracelets!!we also most definitely have to get matching clothes" regretting this decision already "you're scaring her honey let's ease her into the madness not push her into it" Lina said to her jokingly and they started to walk I turned to my uncomfortable angry looking twin gave him a reassuring squeeze to the hand and followed

We got to Isabella's and I quote 'favourite store' after coming from 5 other stores I mean how many things do they need my feet are killing me I zoned out after 10 minutes of Isabella picking up and putting down clothes
"I guess it's just you and me now uh" confused I looked around and noticed that Isabella wasn't with us "She's gone to the bathroom"  I was wondering why it suddenly got so quiet how dammit now I'm alone with Linda I should just keep quiet till Isabella comes back "let's take a seat she'll be some time" I smell a trap agreeing with her we took a seat to distract myself I took out my phone and started to text Chris

Me: Where are you guys right now?
Big head : helping adien look for some car parts
Me: you're helping him (･o･;)
Big head : not like his dad and his brothers were of any help they clueless plus the faster we find them the faster we can finish and go home. How about you guy's ?
Me: We're waiting on Isabella to come back from the bathroom
Big head : so you're alone with Linda ಠಿ_ಠ
Me: Yes unfortunately
Big head: you okay? want me to come get you
Me: No I'll be fine let's just get this over and done with
Big head: Alright call me if you need me okay?

"You talking to Chris?" contemplating whether to ignore her or not I decided to answer back Chris is making an effort I should too I just hope it doesn't backfire
"Yes I was just checking up on him" she nodded "you're both so grown up and tall...Chris is even taller then Alec!"
"last time you saw us was when we were kids so that's what happens when you abandon someone for so long the next time you see them they all grown up" she looked down disappointed
"Sweetheart I know-" I cut her off immediately "I think you lost the right to call me sweetheart a long time ago don't you think?" I can't keep my anger bottled up anymore "What the fuck are Chris and I even doing here? why do you all so suddenly need to be in our lives after so many year's" I said careful not to draw attention
"I want to fix things we all do your brothers and dad hon-... I messed I know we all did but if you could just find it in your hearts to forgive us give us a second chance...the biggest mistake I ever did was letting you two go and I desperately want to fix everything I want to be a better mom to you two" her tears were starting to fall down her face the nerve "forgive... forgive non of you deserve our fucking forgiveness we needed you to be our mom back then we don't need you now"
tears threating to fall I got up and walked off with Linda shouting for me to stop

well it did backfire.
