Chapter 28

Amanda's Pov

I was surprised when Linda and her husband asked for Craig to stay over for dinner part of me is happy because we get to have a familiar face amongst people we don't know and trust but at the same time I'm sceptical about it and the fact that they haven't said anything about Chris beating up Alec adds to my concerns what are they up to.

We were heading back inside when we heard a car honk are they expecting someone? I turned in the direction of the noise alongside and a car parked in the driveway I couldn't clearly see who was inside ruling out that it was probably my grandparents I lost interest turned around to walk back inside when a hand pulled me back I thought it was Craig so I turned to look at him and his face was a mixture of concern and anger but he wasn't the one holding my arm I looked at Chris and he was still looking back at the direction of the car with a stone cold expression on the fuck is going on

I turned around and to see who was it was and as soon as my eyes landed on him my anger resurfaced I looked in mom direction "what's HE doing here?"
Dad and the pregnant women we saw in Italy were standing there like fish that jumped out of water.

Linda walked frantically towards us "I'm so sorry with everything that happened today I forgot to tell you that I invited your dad and Gabriella his wife for dinner today" she reached out to hold my arm but I pulled back interesting last time I checked they couldn't stand being in the same room together now they having dinner together along with thier significant others

I looked past her shoulder and noticed that dad was looking in our direction anxiously waiting to see what our reaction will be I looked at the pregnant women Gabriella and at their two intertwined hands wonder how long they've been together

Taking my eyes off the couple I continued to look around and biological dad wasn't the only one waiting for our reaction time felt as if it stood still "Wydaj rozkaz, a natychmiast was staff zabiore" (Give the order and I'll get you two away from here immediately) Craig asked concerned
we simultaneously turned our heads and looked at him Chris spoke up first "nie...nie przeszkadza nam to z tym blizniakiem?" (No...we staying you okay with that twin?) I ran away from a problem today making me look weak I'm not doing it again "tak" (yes)

"Ci dirigiamo verso let nostre camere, chiamateci quando la cena è pronta" (We headed to our rooms please call us when dinner is ready) Linda looked at us shocked but she quickly shook it off "o-o-okay we will do that"

Getting board with the western movie stare down that was going on I left with my twin and Craig following behind

We went up and decided to stay in my room for a while catch up on stuff then Chris and Craig will head to Chris's to freshen up and I'll do the same in my room

in the meantime I told Chris about the Mark situation he was mad at me for beating the shit out of Mark without him but he understood that I needed to take out my frustrations on someone and sadly beating up mark was the only option that came to my head.

We decided to look at the list of names and watch the cctv footage after dinner we talked about everything expect for the dinner we about to have downstairs with the ghosts from the past.
