037 //Goodbyes and a relization.

After my day with Nilou, she left and I just hanged around the city, with yin of course.
Tbh I have spent a while in sumeru, I just wanna explore some places. First I'll go back to Kaveh and alhaithams house.

-30 minutes later-

OSNSJSIJS IT WAS SUCH A LONG WALK!! How the fuck did Nilou make it seem like 10 minutes. I ignore my thoughts as I open the door and see Kaveh sitting on the couch.

To be honest i feel really bad for staying at their place, me and Yin take up ALOT of space, and my nightmares are going away aswell.
Maybe I should talk to Kaveh about it?

"Hey Kaveh.. mind if I tell you something ?"
I say and he pats a spot on the couch next to him. I walk over and sit on the spot before continuing. "Ok Kaveh, I think it's about time me and yin go back to traveling." I tell him pretty straightforward because no Mc ever beats around the bush 💪🏽

"Oh.. really? But your the love of my life!" He says dramatically and I smile. I blow a dramatic kiss and just fall into my spot of the couch.

"Yeah well.. I have some things on my mind that I need to figure out." I mumble and I eventually just tell him that I need to explore and I'm SUPER thankful. After a successful time with Kaveh it's time to go talk to Alhaitham.  "Al haitham?" I yell and I see some grey hair poking out the doorway.
"I have to tell you something-" "I heard you and Kaveh."

Oh wow I guess we WERE a little loud. "So are you okay with it?" I ask and he nods. "Oh! Thanks then bro." I say and I nudge him with my shoulder. "It's okay y/n, I actually didn't mind you staying.." he mumbled a bit at the end.

"Well I didn't mind having a friend to watch love is blind with so Ill definitely miss you too." I say and I hug him. As I hug him yin jumps on to his face and keeps on scratching him.
"Oh second thought I might not miss your cat." He says and I just laugh.

- 1 hour later -

It's pretty late at night, and yin is just resting on my shoulder. I've packed up everything in my infinite messanger bag and I've said my goodbyes, time to explore again!

I glance around and decide what to do.

Well, I guess my hydromancy would come in handy, maybe I could recreate a Nilou bloom comp. My glitches could also come in handy, maybe I should decide what I can and can't do.

I find a resting area under the tree and I get out my two guns and my polearm.

This is my first Decision.

If I keep the polearm that would be good for short ranger attacks, and also is probably more damaging than a gun. It also is the weapon I'm comfortable using right now, and it doesn't need elemental energy unlike the guns.

But...

If I keep the guns, I will be able to attack from quite far, and also infuse the bullets with hydro. But I might run out of bullets and I'm pretty sure plain old water isn't too strong. Guns are also apparently part of a 'past' I've had, but what meaning do they have for me currently?

I guess the pros of the polearm outweigh the pros of the guns, but I'll keep the guns in my messanger back just incase.

Now it's time for my actual skills.

If I use my hydromancy, I will be able to create semi-solid things with it, and I will also be able to control it more. It also doesn't have a cool-down.

If I use my glitching more I can create portals, and also be more of a Defense asset. Maybe I should focus on Defense? I can edit some of the levels but I have to be fully concentrated. After eating THE godly cube for some reason I can float, but litterally only 1 inch off the ground.
Maybe I can combine the two?

I grab some water from a nearby fountain avatar the last airbender style and I try to make a tiny portal INSIDE the water.

The water just sucks the blocks inside, and it looks like it's become one with the water.

I try to touch it but I decide against it because I just ate a godly cube and learnt how to float.. I'm not touching some intoxicated looking water.

I guess using it at the same time should be a last resort..

Maybe I'll just stick with the hacking.. it's easier for me anyway. Plus I know self defence for some reason!
I'm litterally untouchable.

Hydro is just a secondary quirk I guess, it's not even like I'm from this world, right?

Yeah, I'm just a normal person who for some reason god sucked into a mystery world.
