Chapter 26

Becky stood with everyone backstage as the main event was about to get underway. She was very nervous & had good reason to be.

The rest of the matches on the All Out card went very well. Jamie Hayter, with her boyfriend Tyler in her corner, had won the AEW women's world title for only the second time in her career. FTR were AEW world tag team champions again. Orange Cassidy was the new TNT champion. Skye Blue had beaten former TBS champion Julia Hart & had challenged Becky to a title match at AEW Grand Slam in New York City, which Becky accepted by saying the words, "I accept, Skye" on Twitter.

The AEW International championship was won by Jack Perry in a brutal match against Aussie Open's Kyle Fletcher while the House of Black(Malakai Black, Brody King, & Buddy Matthews) had won the trios titles for the second time in a vicious match against Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, & Kota Ibushi.

Then came time for CM Punk vs Jon Moxley. Punk made his entrance to a huge roar from the crowd.

Then just as the trios match was over, Becky had gotten word from Tony Khan that Jon needed her near one of the arena's entrances. She found herself wondering why.

Once there, she found out.

Jon took her in his arms & kissed her.

"Do you want to come out with me, babe?" He asked. She smiled & nodded.

Just as they were about to go out to the ring, however, Becky knew that she had to tell Jon something so she did it before his music hit.

"I love you, Jon," she said.

He reacted by kissing her.

"I love you too, Rebecca," he whispered. Then they heard their cues.

However, when the music started, it wasn't "Wild Thing" by X.

It was "Shitlist" by L7, the song Jon used to come out to when he was wrestling on the indies.

Becky looked at him in shock.

"You didn't," she said with a big smile.

"I did. Well, TK did help me out with that, babe," said a smiling Jon. "Now let's get going."

After that brief exchange, the couple came out to a massive pop from the crowd as they made their way to the ring.

It was an experience like no other. Besides her main eventing WrestleMania 35, Becky wouldn't trade this experience for the world.

Once at the ring, both could see the annoyed look on Punk's face. He clearly wasn't impressed by Jon coming out to his old indie theme & having Becky by his side.

Once the bell rang, all of that was forgotten, & the match was underway.

Both men were cautious at first. They hadn't competed against each other in a long while. Punk had previously feuded with Swerve Strickland for a few months while Jon had feuded with Hangman Adam Page during that same time period.

However, once Punk slapped Jon, it was on. Both started beating each other up.

Punk got Jon with a kick, which caused Becky to freak out.

"COME ON, MOX!!!" she yelled as he struggled to get up.

Then something happened.

Jon got up & flipped Punk off, which had the crowd going crazy.

Jon threw Punk into one of the corners & started chopping him down. He then started stomping on the champ once he was on the ground.

However, when Jon tried to hit Punk with the Deathrider, it got countered, & Jon got knocked out.

Once Jon was down, Punk turned his attention to Becky, who was glaring at him. She then started mouthing off at him.

However, Jon got up & nailed Punk before he could yell at Becky.

He then got the advantage when Punk tried to lift him up for the GTS but kneed Punk in the side of the head to get out of the move.

Jon then got Punk in position for the Deathrider & hit it perfectly.

However, Punk kicked out, enraging Jon in the process.

"GET HIM, BABY!" Yelled Becky as she watched him hit Punk with the hammer & anvil elbows.

Once Punk was weakened just enough, Jon hit him again with the Deathrider.

This time, Punk didn't kick out. Jon was the new AEW World Champion.

Once Jon was handed the belt & got his hand raised, Becky ran into his arms, & they held each other tight.

Claudio, Wheeler, & Bryan later joined them in celebration.

The whole crowd was roaring happily as Jon soaked in all of the love they were giving him.

He was happy to be AEW World Champion again.

Jon then had a surprise for everyone.

He took Becky in his arms & kissed her to the roar of the crowd. She was blown away.

Once All Out was over, it was on to bigger & better things.
