Tiredness

As the group started to spend more time in the water with the merman, they noticed that Arran was a very playful creature. He seemed to enjoy their company, but he wasn't fond of all the equipment the boy needed to us for being under the water. Arran had also began to go on the surface more. Todoroki seemed to care about the creature a lot, in some ways Arran reminded Todoroki of himself strangely enough.

Arran had started to wait for the group by the shallow end of the pool, sometimes pacing back and forth because he bored. This day the trio were doing another water exercise, usually they would have one person at a time go in; but this day they all wanted to try to be in the water together. Arran watched them curiously from his spot on the surface. His tail fins were in the water while his upper body laid on the hard ground.

Todoroki kneeled next to the merman with a very front smile as he pointed to the water. Arran shuffled to where he could plop back into the water. After he had done so, Todoroki went first into the water then the others followed. Arran poked his head out of the water with confusion. He gave small chirp as he swap passed Midoriya to be in front of Bakugo. The angry Pomeranian gave a small frown as he looked down at Arran.Arran started at the boy with the same expression before dunking him under the water then swimming back behind Todoroki. Bakugo surfaced again then shouted at the merman, who had a big smirk on his face.

"Ugh, Arran! Stop doing that damn it!!" Bakugo shouted.

"Why does he only do it to him anyway?" Todoroki asked Midoriya. Midoriya shrugged in response before replying.

"I'm not sure, maybe he means for it to be in a playful manner but I think it's more so just to mess with Kacchan."

"Ugh, brat." Bakugo muttered. Arran simply stuck his tongue out then went back into the water behind his rock. He was oddly tired, though he hadn't slept well these last few days. He wasn't sure why but it could be because he would wake up earlier then usual to see his new friends.

Arran laid down behind his rock with his arms crossed in front of him as he laid down. His eyes closed momentarily before opening them to see his friends. They gave a small smile before swimming back to the surface, even though he was tired he followed them. As they began to take off their gear, Todoroki noticed the merman begin to surface. Arran looked very tired, Todoroki set down his stuff then kneeled next to the boy.

"Arran you would go sleep, you look tired." Todoroki said as he patted the merman's head. As he went to get up Arran grabbed the boy's wrist.

"What the hell is going on with him?" Bakugo grumbled.

"I'm not sure, I think he doesn't want us to leave. He doesn't want to be lonely." Midoriya replied.

"Is that true Arran?" Todoroki asked softly as he looked at the tired boy. Arran looked away and gave a nod. Todoroki gave out a sigh and sat down next to Arran.

"Are you going to stay with him longer?" Midoriya asked. Todoroki gave a simple nod.

"We'll tell Aizawa you'll be late but don't take too long, not like I'm responsible for your ass." Bakugo growled as he left with Midoriya behind him. Todoroki sat at the edge of the pool with his feet just barely touching the surface of the cold water. Arran laid his head on the boy's lap with out warning. Arran's tail fins swayed with the small currents in the water, his scales shimmered him the light. Todoroki just patted his head unsure of what to do, Arran fell asleep quite quickly. His fin-like ears were very noticeable but they matched his features quite well. Todoroki was hoping he would not take too long of a nap.
