You've Stepped In

It's a really weird thing to say

That /Rin's hand is being devoured/

By this unsuspected devil who appears in my apartment, I don't even know how she got in, there are guards all over the place and I'm sure I locked my room, or our room actually.

As Rin's hand is devoured, blood can be seen dripping down the floor boards and stains the carpet.

As the devil disappeared our vision started to fade. It only lasted for a while, and when it came back.

No one was left. The old woman and Mae was gone, Rin was lying on the floor without her hand. She was holding on to her wrist really tight as if it was the most important thing in her life.
Dear God, this has to end, please help us.
We will take Rin to the hospital and God knows what will happen to our lives next.

A few minutes later, Jin and I would be watching Rin sleep on the Medical Bed with all the equipment needed attached to her.

Jin held on to Rin's arm for dear life, and said "The next time we try to fight against this demon, it'll be for You. Jie. And Mae"

After Jie and Mae's disappearance, and Rin at the hospital.

Jin and I are the only ones left to find out what's going on here. We left the building and went searching for an expert. The problem is, we didn't know how to find an expert who knows all about spiritual happenings and other things like that. We had to go back and look for other clues that Hopefully.... Will bring us the answers we need.

We went to the exact place where I fell asleep, the place where someone whispered to me "You Can't"

We stood there and looked for something... Anything!!...

But nothing...

We were forced to head back to my apartment, as a last resort to finding out what's happening. TO FIND THE ANSWERS!...

When we came back, I realized that Rin's bloodstains were gone, I kept looking around to find the massive stain on the carpet but, still nothing. Jin also told me that her hand isn't there too, last time we just left it beside the entrance.

It was getting late, but I didn't want to give up, Jin had to tell me to chill before I was convinced to just continue looking for an explanation the following day. He says "Don't worry, I'm sure we'll finally solve this tomorrow" "let's get some sleep"

And so, I had to go with it. I had to fall asleep.

I'm sure many people have nightmares, many many people.

But not as bad as...

I was dreaming that night. It felt so real, but yet, so obvious, that i'm actually dreaming, I could feel, Literally feel... While dreaming, that I'm dreaming.

I kept telling myself "This is a dream" "This is a dream" "I know" "This is a dream"

I was in a house. Somewhere in the town where my apartment is. An old cabin, a ruined cabin, the remains of a cabin. And during my dream.
It was weird. I had the urge to go inside that cabin. And so I did. It was night in that dream. I was going up the porch of the house.
Every step I take. Lights start to turn off.

I step once, the city lights turn off.
I step again. And the town lights turn off.
I step, i'm very close. All the cars' lights turned off.
And once I reach the very top of the porch.

The door opened.
