Later that same day, Lydia came home, in the kitchen was the older brother she had just discovered and her mother preparing a snack.
"Lydia, you're here" Lydia's mother greeted her with a weak smile
Tyler looked at Lydia curiously, it was strange for him to have a sister, he always thought he was an only child.
"What's going on? Mom, who is he" Lydia put herself in character
She didn't want to report that she was eavesdropping on her mother's conversation with Tyler.
"I know you were listening, it makes things short!" Tyler with a roll of his eyes got up and walked over to Lydia "I'm Tyler your older brother and I also didn't know anything about my mother's shenanigans!"
"Tyler!" Carol/Natalie yelled at her son
She was annoyed that Tyler continued to throw in her face the fact that she was hiding his sister and even more, talking in a way like she was a slut.
"Mom, what's going on?" Lydia asked in a panic, she started to vent "About the wolves, you know?"
That was the moment, Lydia never dared to talk about the supernatural with her mother, for fear of judgment
"Lydia, there are no wolves in California!" Natalie returned to her character denying her daughter's statement and Tyler rolled his eyes "Look, there were circumstances that made me break up you two, it's okay! I'm not a slut Tyler! You know it and I already told you"
"but, not for me!" Lydia screamed
"She has a temper! You can't blame my dad this time, Mom!" Tyler chuckled and received a death glare from his mother, he raised his hand in surrender "Okay, I'm done"
"Okay Lydia, me and Tyler's father were, married a long time, since teenagers and love ended, it happens! but, our families have a certain power in my hometown and to separate would cause chaos" Natalia replied with a sigh"My real name is Carol-Natalia Martin"
"so I was born out of an affair?" Lydia screamed again even more angrily
"The famous bastard!" Tyler joked and received another look from Lidya and Carol
"Tyler!!" Carol yelled, "Please keep your mouth shut!"
"OK!"

The conversation ended and finally, Carol decided to let her two children talk, to get to know each other.
"Okay, ask whatever you want" Tyler was the first to open the dialogue, sitting on the couch and patting his side twice
Lydia sighed and sat down next to Tyler.
"Are you a werewolf?" Lydia got straight to what she wanted to know without further ado "I heard the conversation and if you're a werewolf I know you heard me"
"Yes! You're right!" Tyler sighed "I'm a werewolf"
He decided to leave the hybrid part out! this he would tell Lydia in time if she proves to be trustworthy.
He didn't want to draw Klaus' attention! not for his mother, Tyler despite being angry with his mother, he didn't want to lose her again
"Does my mother know?" Lydia swallowed
"Yeah, she's already seen me change and change myself" Tyler replied with a sigh "Look, after all, she just doesn't want to go through the supernatural again, so she ignores it, please be patient with her"
"go through the supernatural again?" Lydia asked again, swallowing hard, "Something terrible has happened!"
"Yes! we lost, my father, a cousin who I killed by accident, many people in town, people close to me died, to the supernatural" Tyler swallowed a snarl of anger as he remembered the deaths
"Was it a hunter that made my mother run away?" Lydia asked
"No! it was someone else like me!" Tyler responded by grinding his teeth remembering Klaus
He decided to tell the story to Lydia, aside from the vampires and hybrids, he told her about Klaus and what he did to everyone in town, and how he killed Tyler's pack.
"So, are you an Alpha?" Lydia asked in surprise
"No, I was once an alpha! But today I'm just an omega" Tyler replied thoughtfully
"Got it, just like Peter" Lydia replied thoughtfully
"Who's Peter?" Tyler asked
Lydia then told the whole story of the city making Tyler shocked, mainly because the werewolves here can turn humans into werewolves, just like vampires.
He wanted to know more about these werewolves, but he put it aside. he didn't want to instill distrust in Lydia
That's when Lydia's smartphone rang and she answered it, he said a few things on the phone and his eyes widened.
"Damn it!" Lydia grabbed her purse in a panic and hurried out.
"A pack of alphas attacked my friends at the hospital, I have to go" Lydia turned to run
"wait!" Tyler yelled getting to his feet "You're going after a pack of rabid werewolves by yourself? are you suicidal?"
"What do you want me to do?" Lydia hesitantly questioned "My friends are in danger"
"I'll go with you!" Tyler responded with a smile, "It may not look like it! I'm very strong"
