Rain /Phayu

"movies!"

I scaped him!
My brain celebrates.
But my car

"Mae," I called out lovingly.

"What is with the tone?
Be glad your p' send you home or you are really in trouble young man." Mae said not in raised voice but scolding.

I hold on her arms and tried to a peace her.

"Mae.…." I said again.

She did not speak.

"My car" I said. Gently.

"Phayu told me it's under their care. I told you to have it checked up last week now you have trouble twice. " Mae said.

I pouted.

She sighed.

"We will pay it later when it is done na. For now you gotta move quick. You are to use public transportations. And speaking of that.
Move you are gonna be late" This time her voice raised.

I kissed her cheeks before proceeding to my room.

Take a quick shower.
And now I forget. My one pair of clothes is left behind.

Thoug I have more pairs
But those are the best.
I washed it after I showed in p' Phayu's place.

Damn how can I have it back?
Nevermind I'll try to buy again later.
Oh noh. My allowance!.

Gotta prepare for school first.
I took my shower.
And prepare for my day.
It's hard to find a taxi.

I ended up being late.
I was helped by my best friend Sky to enter the room without the professor noticing.

After classes.
Lunch.
And in the afternoon.
Practical lessons.
I am glad hazing is over
But I have not met my senior yet.
I need their help. Well Sky is a big help. Bug we need advices from seniors.

I need to get home early. It's hard when you don't have your own transportation.

"Rain whe4 is your car?" Skay asked. I don't noticed. He followed me.

"In the garage. I'll check it tomorrow." I said
Now how to face p' Phayu.
I was rude talking to him.

"Which garage?" Sky asked.

"Mmm. I forget the name by ut I know the place." I said tried to make things lighter as I used to.

"I think you better come with me. We need to fix your math." He said.

"Thanks na. Next time." I said. And huridly ride a taxi.
I waiid at my best friend and leave.

Mae is nog yet home.
I run to my room.
And look at my working table.
The more papers I see. The more I get lazy.

I sit on my chair and started to stare at the papers.

Bug my mind wonders.

That night.
That rainy night.

I was stuck I the middle of the road.
But here comes a man and fix my car.
I tried to make sure he won't get wet. For he get down from his bike for me.
Though he wants rain coat. Still I know I have to protect his head for he removed his helmet. It would be my fault if he get sick.

He said we came from the same university and same Faculty because of my hazing uniform. And it turned out he is one of my seniors.

And I only learned his name form last night. Phayu.

I heard so many things about him but have not seen him in hazing ground.
All good things about him.

Yes I want him to be my senior.
But last night.
His actions make me wanna run away from him.

But now how can I run from him?
My car is in his garage!

"Rain" Mae call3 then knock on the door.

"Come in Ma." I shouted.

I pretend I am studying.

"Trying to study. I hope you do well this time.na." she said.
Mae is not strict as so does Pa.
They just want me to have a good life in the future.

I placed my forehead on the table.

"Okay. You might be tired na. Have some snack  first before you continue that " Mae said as she walks towards the door.

I lifted my head and happily looked at her and followed her
Foods!

After snack I grabbed popcorn and went back to my room.
My phone blinked and there's a new movie on Netflix.
I watched more than three movies.
Till I decided to have dinner.

Woah! It's already 12midnight! Damn!

I went back to my table. And tried to do some assignments.

I should have gone with Sky!
I am doomed.
I don't know what to do with these!

I tried to read backwards and forward our lesson.
And boy I am glad.
I am done!

Hello bed!

"Rain wake up!" Mae bangs on the door.

"What I am just about to sleep!"
I can't say that loud.

"Wake up! You have to remember you don't have your car."She shouts .
And h knows she won't stop till I answer.

"Oh am awake Ma" I said.

"Okay move faster.!" She commanded.

I did my morning routine.
With heavy sleepy eyes and a lazy body I went to find breakfast.

Mae gave me a bag.
"Leave eat on the way" she said as she pushes me.

I walked a few meters to get to the subdivisions gate where I can find a taxi.

I slept on the road. I mean napped.
I paid my bill and walked to the canteen for coffee.
And also eat my breakfast.

"What happened to you nong?" A senior asked.
P'Som.

"Sawadee p'." I said.

"You look tired and ugly" he teased me.

I just pouted.
Ignore him and eat.

"Aw. Nong Rain"
I looked up and swallowed my last bite.

I am ugly today. Why do I have to see him or why does he have to see me today?

"Time to go." I said quickly and grabbed my bag. Leave my garbage which I don't usually do.
Run to the second floor. Where my first class is today.

I sit down and drink water.
Sky smiled at me I just nod at him.
Time to pass the hard work of the night.
And again another seat work.

After class.
Our papers are returned.

All my answers are wrong!
What have I done

A hand landed on my shoulder and two heads are now blocking my view of my paper
Sky and our classmate.

"Hey your answers are right!" Sky said while laughing.
"Only in wrong item."
He added.

"Sat!" I shouted.

"Did I heard cursing?"
That voice again.

"Sawadee ps'." My classmates and friends said.
I just looked at our ps.
I have met them before class.

"Nong Rain what happened?" He asked.

P' Som smiled and I know he is ready to tease me again.
"You looked ugly. You cursed..." He walks closer and I don't know how my papers landed on his hands.
" And failed?" He asked. About to tease me again.

"Shut it"
The senior said.
He hold my wrist.

"Cover for him on your next subject. I'll talk to him" he said looking at Sky while pulling me away from them and the room.

We stopped under the stairs and led me to sit.

"Tell me Rain what happened?" He asked.

I can't say anything.
I am afraid he might scold me. But why?
He might not want to talk to me again. So what?

"I am your p' na and your senior." He said.

"Mo.. movies" I said. But why is voice shaking?
