Phayu /Rain

"too early"

Phayu's POV

I get out of the room.
He gave me the set of clothes I can wear.
Then he entered the bathroom

I'm surprised to see him wash my clothes.

He has this small portable table dryer. He placed my clothes inside. Then he hung them up later.

"Mae and Pah must be waiting" he said.
I followed him to their kitchen
In time Pah and Mae are preparing the table.

They smiled at me.
I waiid at them again.
I already talked to them and cleared my motive
But for Rain think it's too early.

The dinner is so good.
Rain might be silent but he gives me food and serves me well.

They did not ask much.
After dinner.
Rain started collecting the utensils.
And I helped him.

"P' Phayu you can wait in the living room. I'll send you home after I am done here." Rain said.

"I am not going anywhere unless we talk." I said

"Rain. I am sure you and Phayu can fit in your bed na. You have a king size bed. And no you are not gonna go out in that heavy rain and it's late already"his Pah said.

Rain is stunned, and can't speak.

He finished his chores.
I followed him back to his room.
He is wearing a jacket.
I stood near the door and leaned my whole back on it.

"You are not going anywhere" I said.

He looked at me and rolled his eyes again.

He sat stubbornly on his bed.

I sat beside him.
"Rain. I came back to the library and you were gone.
The library staff said she called you but you did not hear her.
So she gave this back to me." I gave him the note, it was for him.

He looked at it and his aura changed

"Is p'Nan your girlfriend?" He asked.

I smiled from my heart

"No. Rain. She is my friend. And she has a boyfriend already and it never crossed me to like her like a lover." I said almost in a whisper.

"It's too early Rain. But I want to know you more." I said.

He looked at me.
"P' Phayu." He said he wanted to say something but he stopped himself.

"I am a senior in charge of you na. So I will help you in all the ways I can. " I said

He pouted again
I wanna chew those lips.

I looked around and saw his table.
The envelope with money is still there.
But I can see the load of work under it

He stands from the bed.
I wanna pull him and pin him on his bed.
But too soon.
His parents might kick me out of their house

He placed the envelope on top of the counter beside his fish tank.
He went back to the book he was holding when I arrived.

I sat beside him. I took his paper.

"Need help with this?" I asked.

He looked at me.
He shook his head.

He grabbed another work. And gave it to me

I shake my head.
And stare at him.

"It's okay if you don't wanna do that. No one will believe that I did that anyway." He said with a sad sigh.
