1st person

Here I am. Sat in bed trying to focus on the screen in front of me. I have finals this entire week and I need to study so much. Everytime I try to go through the notes and study guides, I find myself texting my boyfriend or scrolling through social media. I'm supposed to be studying for my bio final but instead, I'm here sitting on my bed, tears in my eyes because all of this studying is so stressful. To make this any better, I'm also on my period so every little thing is making me cry.

I here my bedroom door open as my boyfriend, Pedri walks in holding a bag of takeout. He walks over to my bed and sits down immediately engulfing me into a comforting hug. This is everything I've waited for the entire day. I dig my head into his neck and my eyes start welling up again just thinking about studying. He hears my whimpers and starts to hug me tighter. "What's wrong my love?" he asks . "All of this studying is getting me so stressed out" I reply with tears slowly running down my cheek. "Hey, look at me" he says lifting your chin up to look at him. "It's going to be alright. Why don't I help you make flashcards and I'll help you go through then" I look down again hiding my soon to be red cheeks. "Thank you so much Pepi" I say wrapping my arms around him again.

He hands me the bag of takeout while he goes to get flashcards from my backpack. I look in the bag and see that he brought home paella from my favorite restaurant. I smile just thinking about how lucky I am to have this man as my boyfriend. As I'm already halfway through my meal, I see Pedri come back with a giant stack of index cards. "Where are the notes to write down definitions?" he asks climbing back onto my bed. I grab my computer and direct him to the study guide and notes. 

He's a little taken aback by how much there is to memorize but he keeps it together to not stress you out any further. "Em, I'm gonna start writing these down, you just finish your paella" you smile and continue digging into the takeout container. 

You finish your food and look over to see that Pedri had already written down definitions on half of the index cards. He finished writing them all down a few minutes later and turns to look at you with his adorable brown eyes(I hate describing eyes). You hold the side of his face and give him a quick peck on the lips before looking down as the huge stack of flashcards in his hands. "Lets get studying!" Pedri say smiling.

A FEW HOURS LATER

We have finally gone through all of the flashcards and I already feel so confident and prepared. I give Pedri a big hug before plopping down like a starfish on the bed below me. "We should do this again tomorrow after my bio final" he smiles and nods. We put away all of the flashcards and my computer. I get changed and do a small skincare routine then I get into bed and snuggle up to my boyfriend. I rethink about today and how perfect me and Pedri are together. 

I look over at him and smile. He notices my staring and also looks over. I give him one last kiss of the night. This one was deep and meaningful. Then he plays with my hair until I fall asleep. I love this man.

A/N: So sorry this was supposed to come out yesterday but I fell asleep. Thank you @masepain for requesting this it finally gave me some motivation. Not sure when I'll update next because school ends in a few days but hopefully soon. Bye loves!
