I never really wanted to become a star. I wanted to go and write novels and maybe become a librarian. Though I was forced into the spotlight and forced to sing, I can't stop or else I'll be ruined, and so will Mama. I really hate singing in all honesty.

"Hey Citrus?"

"Yeah, Ethan?"

"How did you get into music?"

I stared at him. He was leaning over that couch and was toying with the strings of the electric guitar.

"Actually, how did you get in Night Raven anyways, aren't you a-"

"My father pulled some strings. Don't worry about it."

"Right... what about my first question?"

I looked down at the floor. I can't really tell him that my dad forced me to take violin lessons so I could become a musician like him and the generations before him.

"I... I don't really remember."

He stopped playing with the guitar and looked over at me. I met his gaze, and we sat in silence, I could almost see that he knew something was wrong.

"Ah, don't worry about it, mate! If I'm being honest, I did too! Haha." He let out a laugh and put on a relaxed expression. You could hardly tell it was fake. The only thing giving it away was the stare he gave me, the monotone gaze.

"Did you now? Didn't take our snake here to forget such a thing from his past!"

"Hey, you never know~!"

"Yeah yeah..."

We sat in silence for a moment, I was currently sitting at our light board for the lights at the stadium, which is where we were, and Ethan was supposed to be tuning the instruments, but he probably got distracted.

"I still can't believe you got into Octavinelle of all places, Citrus."

"Me either, really, but I don't mind it at all! The people there aren't too bad, and these people in the years after us seem promising, don't they?"

"They do.."

"Anyways, what songs are we performing for the next event?"

"Well, we were informed by Crowley to play more sad songs since that was popular with the students, so I looked up some songs, and the list should be in the red cabinet."

I sighed and opened up the cabinet, grabbing the folder on top and flipping through the pages.

"Shoujo Rei? Daughter of Evil? Lost Ones Weeping? Rolling Girl? These are all literally vocaloid songs."

"Okay, so... I asked the help of a kid from Ignihyde, and they gave me a really long list, and most of the ones I liked were vocaloid. I also plan on adding a few more tomorrow with Lucas. It should just be the three of us playing, so your recommendations would be great as well."

"Yeah, can't say I really know any sad songs. Maybe we could give them whiplash and play a few happy songs in between the sad ones?"

"Like?"

"I don't know, Niccori Survey Team, Cupid, maybe some Hally Tall?"

"Not bad, go ahead and write your ideas down on a note, and I'll hold a group meeting so we can discuss more later."

I nodded and closed the folder, putting it back where it was before.

"When is our first practice for the next show?"

"I guess it's whenever we're all available, I know I'm not busy for next week or during break."

"Got it, I know I have a show over break, but that's about it."
