The Vault

MADRID POV

As Tokyo and I are heading to the vault room we hear manic laughter. Tokyo and I look at each other and I chuckle at Tokyo and I see a slight blush on her cheeks in the dark hallway, I smile as I see that. When we enter the vault we see Denver and Rio laying down on top of the stack of money. They're making a mess in the vault as Moscow is laughing at the scene.

Then Rio and Denver start throwing the money in the air. I walk beside Moscow and say, "Good job Moscow."
"Ahh. Madrid you almost gave me a heart attack." I chuckle at Moscow's nonsense. I look at Tokyo and I go beside her and say, "Look at them. Crazy boys." I look at her with a smirk as she looks at me and I say, "Women are better." I look at her eyes. As she just looks up at me, rolls her eyes, and walks out of the vault.

I follow her from behind as we go back to the main room to inform the others. I say to the others, "The vault is open. Time for the next step." The others nodded.

I get the bag duffel bags and as I'm getting them Tokyo and I grab the same bag and touch hands. We look at each other and I clear my throat and say, "Let's get the bags and go back to the vault." She nods her head as we grab the bags and head back to the vault.

As we get into the vault we see Denver, Rio, and Moscow collecting the money. I go into the actual vault and start grabbing money and putting it into the bag. Tokyo is about to bend down to grab the money but I stop her with my hand and say, "I'll do it. It's ok." She looks at me and shrugs her shoulders and throws the black duffel bag on the ground, walks out and I start collecting the money again.

As we are done all of us start heading toward the main room of the Mint. I and the others walk through the hostages and I can hear them whimpering as we are walking.

We have the bags over our shoulders. I press the emergency button and Tokyo opens the door to the Mint as we are in a stance. As we are waiting I see Rio lightly shaking as I'm guessing he's nervous. I look at Tokyo and I see she's focused on the door to the outside. I'm guessing she feels someone staring at her and looks to the left at me and looks at me in a way 'Why are you looking at me.' I just look at her and smile with just my lips. I then see a slight tint of red on her cheeks.

Then Denver suddenly slaps Rio's duffle bag and he gets scared by the sudden actions of Denver. "Don't start freakin' out, dumbass. You wouldn't be able to hit anyone even if you tried. Am I right?" Denver starts laughing as Nairobi's scoff turns into a light chuckle. I see Tokyo look at Rio but as she was about to look forward she looks at me for a second then looks at the outside of the Mint. I chuckle to myself and look in the same direction as everyone.

-----FLASHBACK-----

We were in the indoor pool I was sitting in the back between Oslo and Nairobi I wasn't exactly listening because the professor told me this already. "When the police arrive, act as if you've been caught while trying to flee, and shoot at them, and retreat back into the building to hide, like a rat caught in a trap."

The professor finishes his sentence as Denver starts talking, "But why exactly do you want us to fire into the air?" The professor says, " I told you. Our plan is not to kill or hurt anyone." Nairobi says, "But it's not like anyone plans to die." Rio then backs up Nairobi by saying, "She's right. Who knows what's gonna happen? Couldn't we just kill a few if the situation calls for it?"

I roll my eyes at Rio's statement as the professor states, "Absolutely not... This is crucial for our plan to work." Berlin then chuckles and says, "Our plan? Sound like your morals are getting in the way.

I scoff as Berlin finishes his comment, "Holy shit. You guys don't fucking listen." I say under my breath as some of the others look at me as I'm sitting there then Tokyo says, " What's with all the comments? Our job here is to execute the Professor's plan. If you can't then leave." She says as she looks at Berlin and I smirk seeing that she was targeting Berlin.
