The Police's Operation

MADRID POV

After we gave the hostages their new outfits Berlin called Rio up to the office. I was waiting for further instructions when I went up to Tokyo and whispered in her ear, "How are you?" She looked at me and said, "Good. What do you want?" I scoffed and my hand on my chest jokingly offended, "Nothing. Just wanted to see how you were doing." She rolled her eyes and said, "About that conversation earlier, what did you mean when you said good after I said I don't like Rio?"

I was about to speak when Berlin came out of the Director's Office and said, "Madrid and Tokyo I need you two in the office." Once he said that I start walking towards the stairs with Tokyo. As soon as we enter the office Berlin starts talking, " I want the both of you to collect all of the earpieces." We both nod our heads and Berlin speaks again, "Madrid make sure to not leave anything that could give a signal, okay?" I nod my head and exit the room with Tokyo going to grab all of the earpieces.

Once I gathered Mine, Nairobi, Denver, and Moscow's earpiece I head to Tokyo and say, "Hey." She looks at me with the earpieces of Oslo, Helsinki, Rio, and her own in her hand. "You can give the rest to me and I can bring it to the office." She shrugs her shoulders and pours the earpiece that were in her hands into mine. After she's done I head to the office over to the fish tank that is in the corner of the room and lightly toss them into the tank.

I nod to Berlin and lay comfortably on the sofa that is in the Director's Office with my hand supporting my head and wait for the call to the Professor.

The phone rang, It rang again and on the third ring, I saw Berlin nod his head toward Rio as I sat from my position on the sofa. Once Rio saw Berlin nod his head he switched two switches and pressed a key on the keyboard. We then waited for the professor to end the call with the detective. And we waited for more instructions.

------FLASHBACK------

We were in the empty indoor pool I was sitting in the back between Nairobi and Oslo. "The South is in charge of keeping public order in the JEA, but in case of a hostage situation in the facility such as the Mint, the two countries will form a joint task force, just like us." I see Moscow writing notes in a little notebook as the professor is talking." Then, each country will send its experts onto the field to try and catch you all in the act."

Berlin then starts speaking, "The North will probably bring in men from the Special Operations Unit. It'll be quite the power struggle." The professor then says, "Correct. It's very important who gets chosen to be in charge of everything. And I intend to use that aspect." I then look at Moscow as he starts speaking, "I like your plan, but, you see, not everything happens according to plan in this life." He then looks at us and says, "For example, look at us. Who would've ever thought we'd all get together and pull off a bank robbery, huh?"

I look at him intrigued by his statement then Denver says, "I agree. Like Berlin said, as soon as the Special Operations Unit barges in, it's game over." Rio then speaks, "You know, it was Mike Tyson who once said, 'Everyone has a plan until they get punched right in their fuckin mouth.'" Rio them fake punches at Denver to piss him off. I lowly chuckle at their stupid-ness Rio then looks at me with a pissed-off look but I just roll my eyes and look back at the Professor.

"Point taken. The first step to winning a battle is to wisely choose the opponent you're facing." Nairobi then starts speaking, "You mean you'll be picking the negotiator?" Rio then speaks, "How? Everything from the North is classified. How do we know who they're gonna send to be on the task force?" The professor starts speaking again, " We at least know who'll join from the South." I'm currently bored waiting for the questions to be done so the professor can get into the important information.

"Seon Woojin, crisis negotiation team leader from the South. She will be our opponent." Berlin then says, "She pretty, I'll say that." All the men chuckle at the comment as Tokyo, Nairobi, Rio, and I don't laugh at the comment. I scoff as soon as Berlin finished the comment and under my breath, I say, "Asshole."

Berlin then looks at me with a smirk the professor clears his throat then Berlin then looks back at the professor then says, "However, how can you guarantee that she'll be our negotiator when there are plenty of them in South Korea?"

The professor clears his throat and says, "Well, there are a few strong contenders they can choose, but all they have issues, like sex scandals, and bribery cases." Then the professor looks at Rio and says, "Right, Rio?" Rio then gasps and says, " That's why you had me do background checks."

"Now, I plan on getting her to assist us with our operation without her knowing."

------PRESENT------

After the call ended I went to the main building where the hostages are and waited for further instructions. A few hours later Berlin calls all of us to the office and when I'm about to enter the office I see Tokyo enter walking up the stairs about to enter the office. As she walks closer and so am I she looks at me. I look into her eyes to see what she's thinking. As soon as I see something in her eyes she looks towards the door.

We both reach the door at the same time and I open the door then she goes in then I do. Once we enter the room Berlin, Rio, Moscow, Denver, and Nairobi are in the room. We are waiting for Helsinki and Oslo and a few seconds later they open the door and we wait for the professor to call us.

After a few seconds, the phone starts ringing and Berlin picks up the phone and puts it on speaker and we hear, "They'll be there very soon. Proceed as planned." The professor said and we start getting ready.

(Madrid's Mind) The professor tells us that there are five entry points. The main gate, the rooftop, the underground garage, the emergency exit on the side, and last but not least, the loading dock. If you remove where they're most likely to be seen which is the main gate and rooftop, they'll use one of the other three to enter.

As soon as the call ended all of us except Rio start gathering the hostages and shouting at them to go to the loading dock.

Once we get to the loading dock we start setting up for police's operation.
