"YOU'RE LATE!" KENDALL ROY TEASES asJuniper Carvalho hurries along the floor.
Sticking up a middle finger, her family friend laughs and watches her go. With a coffee in one hand and her files in the other, she breaks a heel just getting to the office. So when the door swings open and she finds it empty, her frustrations are more than justified. You see, only minutes ago, her boss had called her and demanded she be by his side. Which, when met with the threats of a firing when she refused to play along, meant Juni had to actually find him to make things right. The last thing she needed was another reason for her mother to be mad at her. So...where was he?
"Mr. Roy, someone's here to see you," she hears a voice ring out and Juni suddenly remembers his plan.
Turning back around, she chases her guest right into the office of Kendall Roy.
He stands confused, alongside COO Frank Vernon, and Juni takes a moment to catch her breath.
"Who's this?" Kendall asks the girl but words cannot yet come to her. Before she can answer him, the man walks in and sets a briefcase on the table.
