Dr Rene Ferguson is the best cardiac surgeon available to do my surgery. She has talked about the the surgery and we have listened. She wants to crack open my chest and repair the damage done by an injury to my chest in one of my assignments. The doctors couldn't do much back then to fix it, but they have advanced their methods and can do it this time. So I guess it's going to be a success according to dr Ferguson. I try to talk to her about the guy who went after her in the cafeteria and she told me that he blames her for his brother's death. She was in the middle of an emergency surgery when his brother came in with a stab wound that nicked the enough to cause damage. Jack wanted a more experienced surgeon to operate on his brother, but she was unavailable. When she finally freed up she ran to the ER to see what could be done. His brother was already in surgery with the on call surgeon who couldn't get the heart repaired and his brother bled out on the table. The damage was way to extensive for anyone to repair. She went on to say whoever stabbed them twisted the knife and then they pulled it out. There was no saving him at all. A review of the surgery and the damage done to his heart.

Dr Ferguson
I realized how he knew about the attack when I see the young lady sitting by his bed. Apparently she is his daughter. She was the one who subdued mr Hyde. They took Hyde to jail and he will be there for sometime. He violated his restraining order and his bail from the last time. To cover its butt the hospital investigated his claims and found them to be unfounded and four surgeons attested to the damage being far too much for anyone to save his brothers life. I asked his daughter if she had told him about the incident and she told me he asked her about it when she got back to his room. He apparently had heard from a nurse, a doctor and an orderly about what his daughter had done. The rumor mill runs rampant again. I explain the surgery to them and when I am going to do it. I then take my leave and instruct the staff what needs to be done before I leave.

I smile as I realize dr Ferguson is my dads surgeon. She's going operate on him in the morning so she came by to talk to him about his surgery. I have to be here to talk to the police about Hyde and the attempted murder of dr Ferguson. I hope I don't need to testify against him. I asked for emergency leave because of dad's surgery. Of course if I get subpoenas to appear in court I will. I need to get dad settled in after the surgery and find a hardcore nurse to keep him from overdoing things until he is healed. I have been trying to find someone who looks good and fierce at the same time. But dad is not easily contained when he is ill.

I watch over General Steele and her father. I was watching others when Hyde was taken down by my charge. I soon followed her and cuffed him in cable ties. Hospital security guards finally showed themselves then the cops. Where were the guards at when Hyde got into the building. There is a restraining order that also states he can't be in the hospital because of his attack on Dr Ferguson. So General Steele being who she is is always on high alert for attacks of any kind. We happen to pick the table next to the doctor. She was in the better position to see Hyde slither in the cafeteria and he stood out. She told me it was the look in his eyes as he started the doctors way. Her father's bodyguard was the blabber mouth that informed him of what happened at lunch. He was in the cafeteria eating lunch and did nothing but eat and watch the action.

I just sat and watched because before I knew it the General had disarmed the assailant and had him subdued. Then Sawyer tied his hands and feet with the cable ties so the police could just take out the trash. The hospital security made it there just seconds before the police. The cops took statements from everyone they could. They got names and phone numbers from everyone who was involved along with eye witnesses. I finished my lunch and headed back to my charges room. I of course told her father what had happened in the cafeteria. I think it caused an elevation in his blood pressure because the nurses came running into the room. Soon after that the general arrived and after that his doctor who just happened to be the person that was saved in the cafeteria.

I have to pull my gun out and start carrying it again. I can't depend on the security guards at the hospital. Hyde got too close to killing me in that cafeteria. How did he know where I was at anyway? I can't figure that out. I even asked my staff about it and none had even seen him. I got my conceal carry license after everything went down with Hyde. I took his death threats seriously. The police did as well, I think they know more than they are willing to say to me. I am a good shot and very precise. I fall asleep after I finish cleaning the gun and loading it and it is under the pillow on the other side of the bed. I can just reach under the pillow and point and shoot at any intruders. Namely Hyde or any of his friends. He has sent message by them at work.
