]Chapter 4[

Soren was sitting on the edge of the crater that had once been L'Manburg a few days later when Len appeared. "What do you want?"
"I want to talk."
"Talk about what?" Soren was still bitter over their argument.
"My past."
Soren was quiet and looked at Len in shock. "What...?"
"Quiet, before I change my mind." He said as he sat beside Soren. "You see.... I was... I wouldn't say friends... I loved someone...." Len looked sad. "His name was Tenshi... But uh... One day, war came... There was nothing I could do...." Tears ran down Len's cheeks. "He was standing beside when he... When he got stabbed...."
Soren looked down. "That's why you..."
Len nodded, raising his hands and wiping the tears away. "I killed everyone, Soren. I didn't care if they were on our side or not. Because they failed to keep Tenshi alive. None of them deserved to live. I wiped them all out. Our side... The enemies.... All of them."
Soren looked at Len. "Can I be honest...?"
Len nodded.
"I wanted to kill every damn Enderian when Adelle died...." He looked at the three heart marks on his arm, two of which were blacked out. One was a faded and slightly shattered. The other had a hole through it that, leading from the hole, was shattered. "One life left..." Soren said quietly.
"Don't waste it."
"I don't intend to."
