I sighed happily seeing that today we were going to be doing some fighting with or quirks. I had already proven I can easily defeat most of this class in hand to hand combat but now we were using quirks as well. Luckily it was raining so we were inside which allowed me to use my light and dark powers.
I went to change into my hero costume before heading out.

"Alright class we will be doing a bracket challenge today. Everyone will fight and the winners move on while the losers do not. Up first is Aoyama versus Kirishima. Next will be Kaminari versus Y/n so be ready." Aizawa told us having the first two head to the gym floor that was lined with mats and the rest of us headed to the bleachers.
I took a seat next to Katsuki and Mina sat on my other side with Denki next to her.
"Who do you think will win?" Mina asked me. We had begun to talk more because she had noticed early on that I was very angry and loud like my brother and had apparently made it her job to become best friends with me.
"Shitty Hair. That stupid pretty boy doesn't stand a chance" Katsuki growled overhearing our conversation. Kirishima seemed to have found and interest in my brother cause he followed him around a lot. Katsuki also had names for a lot of us.
Kirishima was Shitty Hair, Mina was Raccoon Eyes, Denki was Dunce Face, Midoriya was Deku, and Todoroki was either Half and Half or IcyHot. He also called me Shorty, since I was smaller than him. The only reason I didn't also use these nicknames was because they were mainly for him not being able to remember their names, and unlike him I had a memory.
The match was fairly quickly over given the fact that Aoyama used his laser too much. Me and Kaminari walked onto the floor and before Aizawa called on the match he spoke.
"Don't think I'm gonna go easy on you sexy~" he purred, brushing his hand across my thigh as he walked passed me to get ready. I smirked evilly with a tiny blush.
"And BEGIN!" Aizawa exclaimed and Denki immediately shot a bolt of lightning at me. I dodged it and began to walk close to him at a slow pace.
He looked confused until I stopped a few feet away from him and made white fire appear in one hand while black appeared in the other. Black and white fire are to two most powerful types, both being equally dangerous. Very few people have a power with that type of fire and definitely not both.
I let the fire die down and pretended to be out of energy, letting Kaminari get a direct hit on me. Or so he thought. He shot a large blast of electricity at me and right as it was about to hit me I turned into my shadow form and disappeared.
Everyone gasped thinking he had hit me except for Katsuki who I had used this trick on many times, I actually scared the shit out of him the first time because he thought he had hurt me.
The only problem with this is that it doesn't matter if you know I'm doing it or not, you never know where I am going to appear again. I popped up behind Kaminari and because he had already flatlined his brain I was able to kick him to the ground and pin him there.
Everyone cheered for me as I walked off the mat with a cocky smile. I walked over and was smacked over the head lightly by my brother telling me not to get too cocky.
"Girl you and I are going to the mall later" Mina exclaimed and I nodded with a small but actually excited smirk. As annoying as she was I'm sure we would have fun.
After classes finished I met Mina by the front of the school and we headed to the mall together. We went to some different stores and got a few different clothes.
"Do you wanna come over to my house or something?" Mina offered with a bright smile once we had finished. My happy expression on the other hand dropped quickly.
"I can't. I have to make dinner and clean tonight" I said sadly. I also had to work since my parents refused to buy me anything.
"Why are you making dinner? Don't your parents do that?" She asked curiously, tilting her head a bit.
"Meh I usually make dinner for them all and- I mean we take turns making dinner!" I tried to save myself because I knew if anyone found out about the neglect from my parents than I would get a horrible beating from my mom.
"Y/n are you okay?" She asked in a quiet voice, clearly not buying my horrible lie.
"Of course I am!" I exclaimed before telling her I had to head home for the night, and running home to make dinner before my mom got angry.
Truth was I was the farthest thing from okay. My mom beats me, I cook all of the meals and do all of the chores, if mother didn't approve I get punished, I have to work two jobs to afford anything beyond food and the clothes my brother sometimes would buy and sneak in for me.
I had begun to cut about a year ago when everything got worse. Once I was able to work they stopped paying for clothing as well as all of the toys that they would always refuse to buy me. Katsuki said that they also had begun debating making me pay the water bill or rent or something like that.
The truth was my dad was terrified of my mother and so he never did anything and was forced to act like her. My mom had always wanted a son but never a daughter, so I was seen as a waste of money and my so called 'villainous quirk' didn't help my cause.
Katsuki hid it well but he was also scared of our mom, and so he really couldn't help me much.
