Chapter 3: Dream a Visionary Dream! Beginning of the End?

"4?" A voice spoke to Smg4

With no response, 4 was being shaken and another voice spoke "4, wake up!"

4's eyes opened, he saw Luigi kneeling next to him and 3 standing behind Luigi

"Oh thank goodness" Luigi smiled in relief as 4 sat up

"What... Happened?" 4 starts looking around, they were in the city in the grass section in the middle of it. But it was daytime and there was no one about "And why are we in town, I thought we went to sleep in Bloopersville?"

"Don't know..." Luigi looks down with a frown "But Mario isn't here..."

"Neither are our Pokemon" 3 adds as 4 and Luigi stood up "It's really weird..."

"Well... Where do we go from-" 4 starts

"Mew?" A voice that sounded like a Pokemon's spoke

The trio looked at each other confused

"Mew!" The voice spoke again, in front of them floated a Small Pink Pokemon with Big Blue Eyes

Luigi was the first to gasp "It's Mew..." He pulls out his Pokedex and scans it

*Pokedex Entry*

"Mew...? No way..." Smg4 held his hand out and Mew floated in front of him taking his hand between both of it's small paws, shaking his hand like a handshake causing him to gasp in surprise

"Mew!" It smiled at him before floating up again, giving the trio a 'Follow Me' motion "Mew! Mew!"

"I think..." He looks on both sides of him to 3 and Luigi "I think it wants us to follow it!"

"Do we trust it?" 3 questions "I mean unless a Moosharna or like Cresellia is here, we can't really be having the same dream...so this is pretty strange..."

4 looks back up at Mew "I trust it!"

Luigi nods "Then let's follow it!"

4 nods "Lead the way Mew!"

Mew squeaked and started floating forward, the trio ran after it. After a bit of running, the scenery around them changed and turned into a boat on the ocean causing them to stop running and look around confused

"A boat..." Luigi looked over the side to see the ocean

The boat started to shake, 3 looked over the side to see Kyogre swimming under them with Manaphy and Phione swimming beside it

"No way..." Smg3 says quietly, he went to the other side of the boat to see them come out the other side "This shouldn't be possible..."

Mew floated around the three to get their attentions and floated to the front of the boat which was now heading for an Island. When the boat Landed, Mew used Physic to pick up the Trio causing Luigi and 4 to gasp in amazement as Mew floated them over the island. As it did, 4 Tropical Looking Pokémon floated past them; Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini. After the sight, They were in a snow filled area and Mew set them down and they looked around

"Mew's not even using Teleport!" Luigi says in amazement "This is extortionary! "

"Well maybe it's because we're Dream? Maybe we're controlling it ourselves?" 3 suggests

"But who's thinking about changing Locations?" 4 asks, the three of them were quiet

3 felt something nudging against his foot, he looked down to see Shaymin in it's land forme headbutting his foot "Shaymin? Isn't it too cold for you here?" He picks it up and he tilts his head and Shaymin does the same with a smile, crying out it's name

"Guys Look!" 4 points, past them ran two horse Pokémon, one had a rider on it 

"Glastrier, Spectrier, and Calyrex..." Luigi realized, looking to Mew "Why are you showing us this...?"

"Mew!" Mew Squeaks and they all get sent to Bloopersville 

"Back here..." 4 says

"Ah!? Shaymin?" 3 looked at his empty hands before they all looked at Mew "I get it...You're showing us some of the Locations of the Mythicals and Legendries to allow us to find them and help them on our mission..."

"But what about you?"

Mew didn't respond, it simply curled up into a ball as it floated up and it started to glow with light

"Wait Mew! Hold on! Where will we-!" Luigi starts before they all covered their eyes as the light grew brighter

The three shot up in their beds right away and looked around... Back in Bloopersville Hotel...

"About time..." Mario was putting on his hat, Tepig was on his shoulder "Mario was about to have Piplup use Bubble on you all to wake you up"

"So..." Luigi looks at Scorbunny who was now sitting on his lap and facing him "It was a Dream..."

"What are you on about?"

"We'll explain after we go our separate ways with X and FM..." 3 says, Getting off his bed, The same with 4 and Luigi "We already slept in late, we gotta go now!"

X and FM stood on the outskirts of Bloopersville, FM was holding Cube in his arms

FM and Cube looked at X as FM spoke "You think they left before us?"

X sighs "I don't want to think that's the case...Let's give them another couple of minutes, maybe Mario is oversleeping again?"

They wait a couple more minutes and then they hear shouting 

"PIPLUP! WAIT JUST A SECOND!" 4's voice called out. He, Mario, Luigi, and 3 were running after is Piplup

Piplup was raring to go and ready to run out of town, it was stopped by Cube jumping out of FM's arms and waddled over to it, they both nuzzled against each other again 

4 sighs as the four of them stop running "Thanks Cube..." He smiles

"About time! What happened?" FM questions, puffing out his cheeks "It was Mario again, wasn't it?"

"Nope, Wasn't Mario" Mario crosses his arms, huffing offended

Luigi rubs the back of his head "Yeah...It was Me, 3, and 4 this time..."

"We almost left without you! And... We didn't want to leave without saying goodbye..." FM looks down "Even if you guys don't remember, We're all still Best Friends! ...We were worried you all left without saying goodbye..."

4 frowned, glancing off to the side "We're sorry...And we're sorry we don't remember...." He looks up and walks in front of FM who looks up at him, 4 smiles at him "But hey! We're all Pokémon Trainers now! We can make new Memories whenever we meet up again!"

"Mm..." FM hummed anxiously, looking off to the side

X places a hand on his shoulder "It's okay FM, we just have to take what we can get...We can't force them to remember..." X looks at the group and smiled "Sure, That'd be great, but one catch..." He points to Luigi and 4 "We wanna battle you both the next time we see each other"

4 and Luigi look at each other confused

"Why us?" Luigi asks 

FM looks up and a big grin was on his face, he got over that rather quickly "We had a promise! And an agreement to help 4 get stronger!"

"And...I agreed to this?" 3 questions

X nods "It was your idea, actually"

3 crosses his arms and let out a huff

4 smiles, with a nod "Sure! I'm down for that!" He chuckles

Luigi nods "Yeah! I wanna become stronger!" He chuckles too

"Scor Bun!" "Ra Ra!" Scorbunny and Mei cheer

FM picks up Cube and nods "Then it's still a promise!"

X nods "We're travelling to the Mushroom Mesa, It's going to take some time but that's or first goal, We'll be there for a while too for part of FM's Crystal Challenge, so feel free to meet us there if you want at some point, We'll keep you updated"

Mario smiles brightly "Good Luck FM! You're going to need it!"

Luigi nods "Yeah, I heard it won't be easy"

FM nods "Cube and I got it, as well as Whatever PokeFriends we make along the way! Right Cube?"

"Plup!" Cube cheers, fist pumping it's wing

"Good luck with Your challenge too 3" X adds  as he and FM start waving while starting to head in their direction "And good luck to you, Mario, Luigi and 4 in whatever you'll be doing!"

The group waved them as they started to go off in the opposite direction

"So, Where are we heading?" Mario asks

"We're going to head into town" Luigi replies "We need to catch a boat"

"You over slept to think about catching a boat?" Mario questioned, unamused

"No, We had a Dream last night with Mew in it!" 4 tells him "Mew took us around places where there were legendary Pokémon, and some are in the ocean, and some are on an island, and-" He looks at Luigi and blinks "Does he know-?"

Luigi sighs "More like he found out himself...But the PRA didn't seem to mind"

"But what Island?" Mario tilts his head

Luigi hums "The only one I can think of is the one we went to and Boopkins decided to call Anime Island..." He gasped "That Island in our dream looked exactly like it!"

3 nods "Then Anime Island is where we're headed!"

"Ral..." Ralts looked at Mei "Ra Ral?"

Mei nods "Ralts! Ra Ra!" 

They both hop off their Trainer's shoulders when they arrived at the Pier. They began to float down the pier

"Mei!" "Ralts!" 3 and 4 call out and start running after them, Followed by Luigi, Mario, and Piplup

Mei and Ralts turn down a side section of the pier and lower themeselves to the ground and let out two gasps "Ral..."

"Mei, Ralts?" 4 questions out of breath when they caught up with the two shiny Ralts "What-" He looked up and gasped as well "Woah..."

"4, Did you-" 3 starts, looking at 4 confused "What are you-"

"Mew!" A voice spoke up

Sprigatito hopped of 3's shoulder and started hissing, In front of them floated Mew...Again

"I'll say it again, This shouldn't be possible..." 3 says quietly

4 chuckles, holding out his hand "You found us!"

Mew did just the same as in the Dream, It took 4's hand in both of it's paws and started to shake it 

"Just like in the Dream!"

"Did you guys find-" Luigi starts as he and Mario caught up with the duo "Mew..." He said quietly 

"So you weren't joking..." Mario realized "Luigi Catch it!"

"WHAT!?" Luigi questions "I-I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BETTER THAN A POKEBALL, AND I CAN'T JUST UP AND CATCH MEW! IT'S A LEGONDARY POKEMON!"

"Why have you come to find us?" 3 asks

4 gasped as Mew moved it's paws from his hand "Have you come to help us?"

"Now why would it-"

"Mew!" Mew started floating around Smg4, Giggling with a big smile on its face "Mew! Mew! Mew!"

Smg4 chuckles "I guessed right?"

"Well how will we bring it along with us?" Luigi asks "Having a Pokémon like Mew floating alongside us in public isn't very good...especially in our current situation...."

4 hums before taking off his backpack and kneeling down to open it and go through it "3! Open your bag!"

"What? O-Okay?" Confused, 3 took off his backpack and opened it, kneeling down

4 started moving some of his items into 3's back

"Oi! What are you doing!?"

"We did this all the time growing up, relax" 4 tells him, stopping transferring his stuff when there was just enough space for Mew to fit but also duck inside if it needed to "There!" He looks at Mew "Mew, Hop on in!"

Mew examined their bag before floating inside and peeking it's head out "Mew..."

4 chuckles "A Perfect fit!" He picks up his backpack and puts it on, 3 does the same and the duo of Ralts as well as Sprigatito returned to their Trainer's shoulders "Now when we're around people, you can duck down in there!"

"I think Mew will be fine on the Island though" Luigi smiles "But for now, We should go inside the building and ask when the next boat is leaving"

Mario, 3, and 4 nod and they all go inside and Luigi walks up to the desk

"Excuse me..." He says

The person at the counter turned around and they were Familiar to Mario and Luigi

"Karen?" The brothers say in unison

"Oh hey boys, How's it going?" Karen hummed

"You work here?" Mario tilts his head

"A girl's gotta make money somehow, What can I do for ya?"

Luigi shook his head "Right, Do you happen to know when the next boat docks here?"

Karen shrugged "I called the Launch Depot Multiple times today and they haven't responded" She explains "So no boats have been running at all, and I've never received a call back from the Launch"

"But we have to get to Anime Island Now!" Smg4 says quickly

Karen sighs "I would love to help you boys out, But I can't do anything here...I can't leave here incase anyone else arrives wanting to ride the boats . If you four could go check on the Hold Up, that would be great"

3 let out a 'Tch' before turning around "If it gets us a boat then fine:|"

Karen smiles "Thanks so much"

As they left the building, Luigi pulled out his Phone and pulled up a Map "We actually passed the Depot on the way here" He marks the location on the Map and points "It's this way!"

Mario nods "Let's-a go!"

The four made their way to the depot, when they got there...It was quiet...

"Shouldn't there be people here doing Boat Maintenance and stuff?" 3 questions
