You felt someone gently brush your arm, as if you were a fragile statue that could break at any moment.
Your head ached from crying and small tears were still flowing from your eyes, so you didn't concentrate on the contact with another being until you looked into his eyes.
It was the third time today that you had met them, gray as if they were lifeless, but with a small glint of light....
Jungkook... Jeon Jungkook was hugging you. And it felt... It felt good. You felt little flowers growing inside you.
As confused as you were, whether it was because of the tattoo or the thousands of things he makes you feel with a simple gesture, you hugged him back, burying your face in his chest.
You felt a curious, nostalgic feeling. Something that had not touched your skin for a long time. You felt at home.
Strange, isn't it? You didn't realize it until later because at that moment you were enjoying the embrace.
Jungkook had made himself comfortable next to you, his long legs draped pawsomely around you. He had been softly whispering things in your ear for a while now, but you paid no attention to them.
"Why do you have that mark?"
You had many questions. You were feeling too many things. There were too many incentives around you to understand them. And yet you wanted to. You couldn't miss the chance to feel his sweet breath on your ear and let those caramelized words enter your head.
When you finally understood what he was saying you noticed that what he kept repeating were things like, "It's okay", "Don't worry, when the day comes you'll understand"....
"Why do you have that mark?" You kept asking yourself.
A couple of minutes passed and you noticed that no more tears were flowing, so you looked up. Your lips felt the need to let that question go, and as much as you wanted them to stop, you felt the need too.
"Why do you have that mark on your neck? Why did you take it off me?". Jungkook looked very calm to you, almost unmoved by your words. But you saw it, the quick flash of surprise in his eyes.
Even you yourself were surprised. And the surprise had not been caused by the words themselves, but by the ferocity with which you had uttered them.
But Jungkook was still unmoved. He just looked at you with that kind of look that tells you he's searching for the words and can't find them.
"Wow... Jeon Jungkook doesn't know what to say". The fact that he just stood there like that surprises you, as Jungkook seems like the typical guy who has everything under control and has full knowledge of what has happened, is happening and will happen.
He stares at you for a few more seconds, so just when you decide to insist, he opens his mouth... But no sound comes out of it, until he closes it and then mutters under his breath.
"It's not yours and never was. Someday you'll know it, so stop being dramatic." After uttering those words Jungkook's face changes (and you thought he couldn't be more cold and expressionless). His face changes to an even colder expression, and although the previous one was dull, serious and expressionless, this one was worse.
It was dark. You could see perfectly well how the barriers that he had temporarily demolished to be able to comfort you had been built again, and this time a little bigger and more robust.
And just as he came the boy left, leaving you with all the questions in your mouth. You were starting to get a little angry, how could he be so cheeky?
You got up and ran after him, who was coming through the door into the school. You grabbed his wrist to try to stop him, ready to not let him go until he answered you.
And when your fingers brushed his skin he instantly pulled his hand away, turned to you and looked at you.
You stood mute in your place and let him speak, for you could clearly see he had something to say.
"Stop hanging around me, if you have questions just ask my cousin, see if you'll shut up already."
With those words he turned and shut the door hard, scaring you even more.
"But who the fuck is your cousin?"
