In the midst of a cold night, a plant walked in the forest alone. He couldn't sleep, therefore he was there. The plant tried to use the peacefulness to clear his mind enough to go back home and fall asleep. He gently brushed past his non-living kind. Unable to suspect that someone was out there, watching.
The ivory cube stalked his prey with integrity. Just waiting for the perfect time to strike. Waiting for the unsuspecting plant to lose enough energy to want to take a rest.
When that moment finally came, Loser took his chance.
He snuck up behind the tired Tree. He kicked him against the floor.
Tree landed with a startled yelp and looked up at Loser.
"Loser-?? Wh- What the fuck, man!?" Tree tried to stand up, but Loser held him down with the force of a single foot
"Don't worry about it. This is just an experiment.."
"I really do not like the way you said that."
"Good."
Loser began to lean more of his weight onto Tree, slowly crushing the trunk of the poor sap as he began to scream louder and louder in pain. The more pain he sensed from Tree, the wider his sadistic grin grew.
KRUUUUNCH.
Tree let out a blood curdling scream as he was split in half. Tears began to well up in his eyes from the agony.
Loser chuckled, and left to allow Tree to die on his own.

Black Hole floated through the forest. Looking for Tree. He said he was going because he couldn't sleep the night before. He never came back.
That's why Black Hole was worried.
The cosmic entity searched high and low for the plant. Eventually, he saw footprints.
Tree must've been here.
He followed the footprints..
To Trees corpse.
"TREE??" He shot towards the poor soul, horrified by the scene. He desperately tried to wake him up, to no avail.
After a few minutes to an hour of trying, Black Hole gave up. He slowly sank into the floor, and.. somehow began quietly sobbing.
