Chapter 47

Office hours for the day has ended again. Every employees take their ways back to their home and some going to some other errands they had to go.

Sana bid her goodbyes to their Bosses and take a cab back to them. While Tzuyu and Minju drive their way to Jeongyeon's house.

There they were greeted by the old maid as always.

"Ms. Chou, your here again. And with your daughter now. Jeongyeon will be glad to see you two." The old maid said.

"How is he?" Tzuyu asked, while Minju stay silent just listening to them.

"He's in his room, Ms. Chou. Dahyun is with him. He's already been here hours ago before you came." 

"Thank you, Nanny."

"No problem, Miss. Do you want some snacks? I'll bring it. Minju-yah, what do you want? This is the first time you visit after your Dad's discharge at the Hospital." The old maid said.

"I'm okay with anything, Nanny. I really just want to see Dad right now." She replied with a genuine smile.

"He will be really glad to see you. Okay! You can go now. I'll follow with the snacks after."

"Thank you, Nanny." Minju said then follow Tzuyu upstairs.

They were welcomed by the two guys sleeping. Jeongyeon at his bed while Dahyun on the sofa inside the room.

"Dahyun-ah, wake up." Tzuyu said, while patting him.

Dahyun was just a light sleeper so she got no hard time on waking him up. The young man open his eyes slowly while adjusting his vision to the light.

"M-ms. Chou!" He rise from the couch right away when he recognized the person in front of him.

"Nanny said your here hours ago. Why don't you go home. We will take care of him for now. Your parents might be looking for you already."

"It's okay, Ms. Chou. My parents was used to me sleeping over with Uncle." Dahyun said, then take a glance to the another woman in the room behind Tzuyu.

He found the girl also looking at him and he just gave a smile at her before turning to his sleeping Godfather again.

He remembered what Jeongyeon told him a while ago.

"I'm wondering if Ms. Chou already had an idea about this. But maybe not. She still take care of her like her own." He said to himself.

"I'm also wondering if this fake Elaine in front of me has an idea about her being fake. If yes, I wouldn't let her continue her plan. She is not the true daughter. She has no right for everything here." He continued talking to himself in his mind.

At that time, Jeongyeon already had woken up from his sleep. At the same time, The old maid came with the snacks and put them in the table inside the room.

Dahyun went out for a while to go to the restroom to wash his face. He just also woken up from a nap that maybe can already called a sleep on how long he had been in slumber. After Jeongyeon take his rest, he decided to take a nap too.

Minute after he left, Minju followed. Not to follow Dahyun but because she can't control herself to feel guilty while looking at the couple. So, she decided to go out and unwind.

She was at the balcony looking at the view of the city when Dahyun came out from the restroom not that far from Minju were.

He was about to pass by and ignore her when he heard her crying and talking to herself. The door at the balcony is open so it became easy for him to eves drop. By that time, Minju had no idea that someone is listening to her rants.

She was talking about something that Dahyun can't understand that much. He thought he could help so walk near to her and asked.

"D-dahyun? *sniff* How long have you been there?" minju asked when she finally notice the guy.

"It's not that long. I heard you crying so I thought you have problem and maybe I can help?" Dahyun offered.

"I don't think you can. It's complicated." Minju replied, facing her back again to him.

"Whatever it is. You know, your my Uncle's only daughter. We're not blood related but still, he's my uncle. And basically, you're like my sister or cousin like that. So, let me. What is it?"

Minju glance at him who's now standing at the railings with her. She thought of telling her about her true identity and asks to hide it for the mean time. And that's what she did so that she can get his attention for her. But she won't tell him about the plan of breaking his relationship to his girlfriend who's probably her bestfriend.

"It's just that.... I found out something that make me think of it everytime and also make me sleepless. I can't tell it to Mom because I don't want her to worry." She started.

She really got the guy's attention and he was now listening to her with interest on what kind of information she had found out to make her restless.

"And what it is?" He asked.

"I'm.... I'm not...." She trailed off.

Even though, she already had a plan on telling it to him, she still hesitate if she can trust her for hiding it.

As for Dahyun, he is thinking that maybe the girl already had an idea and Minju is feeling guilty about it. If so, he will still help.

"I am...."

"Minju, Dahyun, you're just here? Ms. Chou is looking to the two of you." The old maid suddenly came and said.

"Okay, Halmeoni. We'll just follow." Dahyun said to the old woman.

Once the old maid already left, Dahyun went back his attention to Minju.

"What's that again?"

"Uhm.... Mom is looking for us already. Let's go?" She said, changing the topic.

She was about to leave but Dahyun hold her wrist making her to stop and look at him.

"I know you have something important to say. Just tell me and I will listen." He seriously said.

Minju heaved a deep breath because of nervous. Anxiousness can be seen to her actions.

"Uhm.... Can you meet me tomorrow? I'll tell you, promise."

"Can you just tell it now? Me and Sana had decided to have a date tomorrow."

"I'll talk to her. Just please."

"O-okay..." Dahyun surrendered.

"It seems really important. I wonder what it is?" Dahyun said to himself again.
