Chapter 26

After the yelling incident and transferring of Sana's Mom to her new room for her private care, Sana is now walking at the hallway still in dazed after what happened. And after what her Mom says. She can't easily forget those words like nothing happened. It's like true to her. It's like her Mom really want to tell those words to her long time ago and blame her about everything happened to their family this passed few months.

"I still can't believe what she said a while ago but, I think.... I am really the reason why it all happened to them." She said to herself out loud.

"Right! It just happened after I work with Ms. Chou. And it turns out, it is something really connected with them and Mr. Yoo. But, blaming them to this is not right. We're all victim here. I hope Officer Jung find my sister as soon as possible and make those people rotten in jail. By that, we will all be living peacefully again." She continued having monologue to herself.

It's lucky for her because no one is walking in the hallway that time. Because if yes, they will think she was an escaped patient from the psych ward.

"I hope it's not true." She repeated her words a while ago. Thinking the words Haruka tells to her.

"DON'T CALL ME EOMMA! I'm not your Mom! GO AWAY FROM ME!"

"I'm not your Mom!"

"What's not true?" A man voice asks her from her back.

She facepalm to herself after realizing that she is talking to herself in a place where people can hear her. She is now cursing to herself because of the fact that the man behind her might think she is crazy.

She composed herself first before turning to the voice direction slowly. Right after she saw the owner of the voice, her nervous lessen. At least it lessen for now. But still, seeing the guy in front of her makes her more nervous again in an unknown reason.

"D-dahyun?"

"Are you talking to yourself? And.... What's not true? Did something happened?" The guy asks continuously.

"Ah.... Uhm.... It's nothing! I just can't believe what happened a while ago. What time you came here?" She reasoned out to him.

"I just came. Why? What happened?"

"Ah.... I just found out that someone anonymous paid our bills here in the Hospital. And also.... She requested for Dra. Kim who's friend with that anonymous person to take Eomma to a private care for her fast recovery. It's a.... big deal for me. You know, I wish I am just dreaming."

"You're lucky then. You have to be thankful because of that." Dahyun said, then a chuckle was heard. It came from Dahyun, too.

"Why?" Sana asks confused why the guy seems laughing at her.

"Nothing. You're just lucky. And what's amusing is that, it happens here in this Hospital wherein its name stand for the word 'Lucky'."

"Hmm.... Your right."

"By the way, where are you heading now?" Dahyun asks.

Sana starts to walk again going to the elevator. While Dahyun is following her, walking beside her.

"I'm going home for now." She said.

"Let me drive you home, then."

"No thanks, Dahyun. And.... What are you doing in that floor? What I know is that, Ms. Gong is not admitted to that floor right?"

"Actually, Ms. Gong was already discharged just earlier. Uncle fetch her and drive her back to her house. I  insisted to stay to look for you."

They arrive in front of the elevator and Dahyun push the groundfloor button.

"Well, you don't have to do it for me. But, thank you for your concern."

"Well.... I want to do it. Just let me, Sana." He look at her and Sana did too. But look away after their eyes met.

"You still didn't answer my question I ask you months ago. But I'm not pressuring you to give it now. I'll wait. Just let me show you that I'm serious. You can tell me anything if you have your problem, and you think.... you can't solve it and no one can help you. Just remember, I'm always here. I can be your friend for now."

"Thanks.... Many things happened these days but.... I can handle it myself." Sana said and look at Dahyun while saying the last sentence.

The elevator came to their destination and they both walk out of the lift. They walk again going the exit.

"Are you sure, you dont me to give you ride? I dont mind, though." Dahyun asks again.

"It's okay. Thank You." She smiles slightly to him and Dahyun just nod his head before Sana started walking away from him.

"Hay...." Sana said plopping her body on her bed. She can feel her tiredness but those words from her Mom earlier makes her restless thinking it might be true.

She got up from her bed and sit at the edge of it. She can still remember how she was hurt after hearing those words.

"It really feels so true...." She mumbled.

An idea popped out on her mind. It's so strange for her like, she is now doubting herself if she really is belong to this family she is with all her life.

She got up from her sit and start walking again, going to her Mom's room.

After entering the room, she go straight to the woman's things like a robber looking for her target item.

She saw a bunch of papers containing their marriage certificate, birth certificates of the couple together with her younger sister but nothing about her.

She's starting to feel anxious again about her identity. But she can't be like this. She now already started and she must feed her curiosity because if not, she will be restless after this.

After rummaging all her Mother things, she found nothing. She started to lose hope and sit on a chair in front of the mirror and look at her reflection.

"I have to know if it's true. But I'm hoping it's not. I just have to see the truth and then, I'll stop." She said to herself into the mirror.

Her gaze stopped on a certain place she spotted at the back of her reflection. She turn her head to the direction and saw a kind of vault hidden near the bed. Almost under it.

She get it from under the bed and inspect the thing.

"What might be hidden here?"

She started to type some numbers and the sounds of it is the only thing you can hear inside the room, except from her breathing.

She try the date of her parents wedding day but failed. Then she try next her family's  birthdays date but also failed. And lastly, she try her birthdate, and it.... clicks indicating she successfully open it.

An envelope greet her from inside. She get it out of the vault and start opening it.

It contains many papers and one small sealed Plastic caught her eyes. There is also something that was written outside of it.

EVIDENCES

"What kind of evidence is this? For what?" She drop them all to the bed and saw bunch of photos.

She look on every piece of it leaving nothing.

"It just some parking lot from another country. Maybe.... This is from Japan, to Appa's hometown just.... based on the letters written on the signage." She said.

Until she spotted one photo with a people familiar to her.

"Ms. Chou? Mr. Yoo?"
