Alright... teams... They scanned the area for someone familiar. Well, technically, everyone was familiar. It was a small area, after all. Let's say they were looking for someone who was the familiar-est.

Their eyes landed on Loser first. If they were being honest, they didn't know the guy that well... but his popularity could be an advantage of some sort-
Well, there goes that plan. Seems like they weren't the only one thinking of pairing with Loser. They ought to be quicker.

Another brief glance around the area and they managed to spot Dora. Now this is someone they knew! Looks like it was their lucky day, she'd already found a team to join and Teardrop was on it too! All they had to do was hover on over and-
Ah. Nevermind, then. There goes plan B(Dora) and C(Teardrop).

With both of WRT's friends already on full teams, they felt a bit lost. There was no one else that they really knew... maybe they could pair up with Leafy? She was always really nice, and willing to help anyone in need; both of which are great bonuses.

It was decided then. They drifted over to Leafy, where she was currently gathering members for the team.
"Hey! Could I join you guys?"

The leaf turned sharply towards WRT, rushing over to clasp both of her hands over one of their own. "Of course you can! I'd be happy to help anyone in need."

"Wait, but, Leafy..." The two turned to face Nickel, Leafy letting go of WRT's hand in the process, "This team already has eight members."

Leafy raised an eyebrow, "What? I must've miscounted..."

As she recounted the team members using her pointer finger, WRT caught notice of Balloony. They locked eyes for an awkward moment. Based on the comment he'd made earlier, WRT decided it wasn't worth it. By the time Leafy had finished counting they had already wandered off.

For an insane moment they considered teaming up with Flower, although (thankfully) that was short lived since she'd just merged two groups together to make a full team (much to the members' dismay).

Nerves were starting to kick in. All the teams were filling up...! At this rate, they'd be left out!

A small group of 'not picked' objects gathered around near Barf Bag's team and WRT quickly took the opportunity. They stood, expectant.

"Let's not pick David, he's human and that's just weird," the jello stated, "and not Pen because he's still two hundred vigintillion dollars in debt."
His eyes landed on WRT and hope swelled in their chest.

"..and definitely not WRT. For a robot, they can be really slow."

Donut and Naily were picked first. All that hope faded away. They felt a twinge of disappointment about not being allowed to work with Barf Bag. She always seemed nice.

David, who was previously rejected by Gelatin, was chosen by Leafy. Ouch.

Now it was just WRT and Pen. The two of them shared a nervous glance.

Pen was quickly snatched by Remote, effectively making him join her strange death-preventing team.

All the teams were full...

WRT decided to approach the team Pen had just joined.
"Could I join you guys?"

Tree glanced over at them, "Oh! Erm," he quickly looked at all the other teams, "...Our team is already full, sorry."

They raised a finger, "But all the other teams are-"

"Okay, this team needs a name!" Pen spoke up, cutting them off.

WRT huffed and lowered their arm, moving away from the team.

Alright, fine! They crossed their arms, I don't need any of them, anyway! I can be on my OWN team!

Stubbornly, they planted themselves firmly in a spot far away enough so it could be deduced that they were separate from any other team. WRT simply watched as the others named their stupid teams.

Dread suddenly filled them to their core. They turned around so they wouldn't have to face the other groups, but a presence loomed over them and they flinched so hard they were almost knocked off balance. Apparently, while they were distracted, the blue numeral had slid over to them. It stared.

"I don't know if you could tell," they honestly didn't know where this sassy tone had come from, "but all the other teams are full!" To emphasise this point, they outstretched their arm and gestured to everyone else.

It blinked once. It blinked twice. So it did know how to do that.

Then it slid away again, literally. It wasn't moving its legs. A loud scraping noise followed it as it moved. The dread WRT had been feeling left with it.

That thing is SO weird.
