OPHELIA WAS LEANED UP AGAINST THE WALL IN COBRA KAI'S NEW DOJO, watching as Johnny trained Miguel for the first time ever. It was quite entertaining, actually.

"The cobra strike is composed of two parts: the lunge, which requires the whole body, and the biteâ€"" Johnny explained, softly punching the training dummy in front of him, "â€"which is everything that happens after you make contact."

Ophelia smirked with amusement when she saw how engrossed Miguel was with what Johnny was saying and demonstrating.

"All right? You don't stop here, where knuckle hits the bone," Johnny's fist was rested upon the dummy's plastic nose, but he pushed his fist further upon the dummy. "You punch through the bone, like the guy you really wanna hit is standing behind this asshole."

Miguel nodded, absolutely enthralled in Johnny's quite... violent way of teaching and saying things, as Ophelia cringed, not being able to get the image of breaking someone's nose oh-so violently out of her head.

Maybe when she was in high school, she would be all for breaking someone's nose, but now that she had seen some things and also done some things to people as well, she tries to stay out of violence as much as possible.

Ophelia knew that Johnny had grown up and learned from Kreese's ways of teaching Cobra Kai, and how wrong Kreese's methods were, but the woman feared deep down that the blonde man hadn't really grown out of his idolization for Kreese, and that he would teach Miguel to be the same way. She also knew that was one of the few reasons she took this part in revitalizing Cobra Kai; to make sure it didn't go back to the original Cobra Kai if Johnny became the new Kreese, she wouldn't know what to do.

Next thing she knew, Johnny was nudging Miguel to stand in front of the dummy, getting into a fight stance or at least an attempted one.

But before Johnny could tell the hispanic teen to punch through the bone again, the man's phone rang through all of their ears, and the man stepped away to answer it, as Miguel started to lamely 'punch' the dummy, which only resulted in the boy leaning all of his body weight onto the dummy through his arm.

Ophelia snickered, amused. "Okay, Miguel." she then got into her fighting stance, which felt so weirdly foreign to her after all of these long years. "You have to plant your feet, and then you have to throw your punch. It's all in your stance. If your stance is weak, it makes you weak."

Miguel studied her stance momentarily, before copying it himself, planting his feet strongly and puffing out his chest with his shoulders back as he refocused his gaze to the dummy. Then, as if it were automatic, Kyler's smug smirk appeared in his mind and was now replacing the plastic face on the inanimate dummy.

"Okay, now punch it. Remember, your thumb is outside of your fist, not inside."

"You know, this isn't really that bad," Ophelia snickered as she scrubbed the not-so-cleanly looking toilet. She sent a teasing look up to Miguel, who was busy working on the dirty mirror above the even dirtier sink in the bathroom of the 'Dojo' — if you could even call it that at the moment.

"Yeah right," Miguel snorted, his voice traveling above the music blaring out of Ophelia's phone, which was a song by Motley Crue, who she had insisted on playing since the teenager admitted he had never heard one of their songs before. A beat passed, and Miguel spoke up once more, his voice a little quieter than before. "Um, can I ask you a question?"

Ophelia's brows furrowed together with confusion, but she nodded nonetheless. "Yeah, of course. What's up kid?"

"Are you. . ." Miguel started, before trailing off momentarily. "Are you and Sensei together or something?"
