Julia's POV

Walking down the street, with a horse, with heards of walkers, you can't be too sure what will happen. The horse's hoofs clicking on the pavement, surprisingly didn't attract walkers. Well, it attracted a few, but at least not a whole heard. Everyone didn't talk much, sometimes Hayven and Domonic would whisper then laugh, but that's about it. I look back to see if we are being eyed or followed. But, all I saw was a Tanner. Great, he's on my horse. What fun this trip will bring me. I think turning my head back around, rolling my eyes in the process.

"You know it's not very nice to roll your eyes at someone." I hear a voice whisper in my ear, realizing its Tanner.

I angle my head so he can hear my whisper, "Well, it's not very nice to get on someone's horse without them knowing."

He doesn't say a word, but just sits there. My. Work. Is. Done. All the words I needed to say, in a smirk. We reach the gas station, seeing that there is blood on the windows, no power and defiantly run down. We grasp our guns and me my bow, with an arrow ready fro fire. We walk in to see that there is still A LOT of food here! No one bothers to take out the food in a gas station first? Idiots.

Hayven's POV

I look around to find something, maybe a weapon, a tool or anything helpful. Then I see it. I plastic cup just sitting there. I walk up and grab the cup, thinking of the song "Cups". Haha, cups, I remember doing that at school, everyone joining in. I roll it in my fingers, thinking of the song. Then suddenly I drop it, scaring the living crap out of everyone. All you can hear is moans and groans and I started to freak, picking up the cup and running back to Domonic. I held on to him as if I would never see him ever again. Then I heard a ear piercing scream.

"HELP PLEASE!!" It was a young girls voice.

Scream after, scream. I motioned everyone to the source of the bloody screams. We quietly got our guns and armed ourselves, walking into a public restroom. We bust open the door with a loud slam! We see a heard of walkers, focused on their kill. It was a young girl, our age, blond hair with a streak of black and purple, and bluesh-green eyes. She let out another ear piercing scream, noticing us. A walker goes to bite her, but just in time, Josh shot his gun and all the walkers turned to him. I motioned the girl to run, making her look around. I sneak past the heard of walkers, going over to the girl. Opening a window, I boost her up, letting her climb out the window, me following. Once outside, she starts to cry. I try to calm her down, letting her have my shoulder to cry on.

"It's okay..." I didn't know exactly what to say... I mean, what do you tell a girl in a world as hell as this?

Once she stops crying, I took this as a advantage to ask her some questions.

I didn't want her to stop crying again, so I started off easy, "What's your name?"

She looks down at her shoes and mumbles, "Abi..."

"Well Abi, my name is Hayven, I'm 15. How old are you?"

"14"

"Do you have a group?"

All she does is stay silent and shakes her head. I figured it was going to be okay if she joined us.

"You are more than welcome to join our group, we have very nice people."

She just nods her head, sitting on the dead grass. I hear gunshots, and remember Great, now we have to get everyone else.
