(Author Note: Quick update, sorry for not uploading, I suddenly got bored for I don't know how long, I'm back, finished this chapter and may get bored again, lol)

The thieving devil took his outfit off and put on some casual clothes as he walked around the city, and happy that he wasn't recognised by the public eye. He was still thinking of ways to try and steal from many big companies while also keeping his promise to Spider-Woman, so that would mean sneaking into places while not being seen by anyone to make sure not to emotionally and mentally hurt them while he works, yet with his little determination, he was willing to take that challenge, just like how he loves the thrill of the chase

As he was walking through New York City, he was distracted by his thoughts when he bumped into a teenage girl "Oh, sorry miss"

"N-no no, it's ok sir" She said, yet she had a look of surprise

"Alright, let me help you pick your books up" the Thieving Devil offered as he picked up her books

"Alright, let me help you pick your books up" the Thieving Devil offered as he picked up her books

"Oh, thank you mister" She thanked him as she grabbed her books with him, on the surface she was happy, yet in her mind 'Shoot, it's the Thieving Devil, I should follow him, make sure he won't do anything stupid' she thought to herself as the Thieving Devil gave her books to her  "Thank you"

"Of course Ms, take care" he saluted to her before he continued on with his walk, and as he disappeared through the crowd, she had a serious look on her face as she followed him at a distance

She made sure to keep a close eye on him as she walks through the crowd, making sure he doesn't see her 'what are you up too Thieving Devil' she thought to herself

As she was following him, many people started to run away, and her spider sense tingled as she sensed the danger, but her senses tells her that the Thieving Devil wasn't the cause, and as it was confirmed, a random robber was seen running from the police as he grabbed a kid hostage, and pointed the gun at the child's head "DON'T YOU BASTARDS MOVE OR THE KID'S BRAINS WILL DECORATE THE SIDEWALK!!" He threatened the police as many civilians watch and or run away in fear

'Damnit, i better change into my suit to save that kid qui-' Gwen's thought was interrupted as the Thieving Devil quickly approached the robber and was able to get the kid out of his grasp, and when he does, he stares him down

"Who the hell are you kid!?" The robber demanded as he points the gun at the Thieving Devil, he would only roll his eyes as he made quick work on disarming him

As he removes the ammo, dismantles the gun, and throws it away, he crouched down to him on the ground "A concerned civilian" he said as he made a swift punch to his face, knocking the robber out, and with that, the police was able to arrest the robber, and thanking the Thieving Devil, he nods in return as he leaves the scene with his hands in his pockets

Gwen was still speechless as she witnessed everything, yes, she has the same reaction as everyone else that witnessed his skill and taking the robber down, yet her's was different 'He really is keeping his promise, like he said he would, and he even saved a life, although he walks the wrong path, he is a really good person at heart' she smiled gently from this, and she walks off into the alleyway, hiding from public eye as she don's on her suit as she went to find the Thieving Devil, and she does, finding him on the grass, lying down "So, the Thieving Devil saved a child's life?"

The Thieving Devil chuckles from this "Well, i was a concerned civilian who was at the wrong place at the wrong time"

Spider-Woman crossed her arms as she walked down the tree just staring into him with her mask raising an eyebrow "Well I know that no 'concerned civilian can ever do something like that you know? Thieving Devil" She said cheekily as she emphasises his name, leaning closer to his face as she does

The Thieving Devil raised an eyebrow as he sees Spider-Woman leaning closer, her face upside down and looking at his eyes through her mask "you know this type of scene is recognisable right? I read comic books, and this might look like a spider-person kiss" The Thieving Devil chuckled at his own joke as he kept staring at her masked eyes

Spider-Woman secretly blushed under her mask as she kept her composure, and she giggles softly as she placed a finger on his lips "You'll might earn that if you're not such a bad boy" She flirted back to him

He rolls his eyes a little from this as he just kissed her finger "That's enough foreplay from me, you make it so easy too tease" he said as he gets up from the grass and stretched a little, Spider-Woman blushed under her mask when she felt him kiss her finger "Oh yea, don't think that saving the kid changed my ways, I'm still a bad boy, so I'll continue my crime as a thief, or in this case, the 'Thieving Devil' which still sounds like a terrible name" he said as he sighed a little "well, might as well think of me as an Anti-hero or something" the Thieving Devil said as he walked off

As he walks off, Spider-Woman was blushing still as she stayed where she was, and removed her mask

'I shouldn't be blushing this hard from just a simple kiss on the finger, ugh I need to forget that' Gwen thought too herself as she shook off the blush 'Not a hero, and not a criminal

'I shouldn't be blushing this hard from just a simple kiss on the finger, ugh I need to forget that' Gwen thought too herself as she shook off the blush 'Not a hero, and not a criminal... but something in between... I like that thought, and maybe we could be partners and stop some real villains... Actually, I'll need to keep thinking about that'

Gwen had pondered this thought as she puts her mask back on and swung off to resume her patrol
