Chapter 2: Mr. Bear

(Your POV)

Chisato: So sorry to keep you waiting, I'm here!

I hear Chisato finally come into the Cafe, she's late. At the moment, I'm changing into my Lilybell outfit for a mission we're supposed to go on. Once I'm changed, I look at myself in the mirror and hear the conversation that's going on in the lobby.

Right now, Mr. Yoshimatsu is in our cafe, sitting at the bar. He visited Mika before Chisato came and there's something off with him. The scent he gives off is unusual, neither good OR bad but at the same time, both good AND bad. I smelt it from the start when he first visited. Though it's not foul enough for me to think he's an enemy, it's not good enough for me to think he's an ally.

You: Tch!

It ticks me off, getting me all confused. I've never experienced this smell before but if Mika and Chisato like him, I suppose he's a friend. I step out to the lobby and see Mr. Yoshimatsu about to leave. He stops, looks at me and gives me a smile.

Yoshimatsu: Hey Y/n, sorry we couldn't talk as much. I'm about to leave.

You: Oh, it's fine.

Yoshimatsu: There is something I'd like to offer though. But let's save that when we're able to talk in Private.

You: Yes, of course. Have a good day Mr. Matsu.

Yoshimatsu: You too kiddo.

Chisato: Bye bye! Thank you so much for the souvenir!

I look at Chisato and she has a thingy mibober in her hand that she's playing with. She then looks back at me and smiles, standing up and walking to me.

Chisato: Good morning~

You: Morning.

Chisato gives me a full hug and all I do is hug her back with one arm. It's been a month and I've been getting a little comfortable with Chisato but it's slow. I've been able to hold hands with her normally now, and hugging her seems easier, though I only do it with one arm. She barely calls me "babe" but when she does, it still gets me flustered. She hasn't kissed me again, which is totally fine. I'd still get flushed if she would kiss me again, and I don't think I'd be able to kiss her yet.

After Chisato and I greeted each other, Chisato went back to the bar to play with her toy. Mika then puts a suitcase down in front of Chisato. She opens it up and it has her gun and magazines in it.

Mika: Chisato. Load up and I'll fill you in on the mission details.

Chisato: Okay!

As Chisato loads up her magazines, Mika tells Chisato the mission details. He already went over it with me, so I know what's up. After Chisato puts everything in her backpack, we both leave the Cafe and thus the mission starts.

Chisato: I'm hungry, can we stop for food first?

You: There's no time for that. Sorry.

Chisato: Aww~

Chisato grabs my hand and we head to the train station.

(Timeskip)

Chisato and I are now on the train, riding it to our next destination. I take out my phone and start telling her the route of how our mission will go. While I tell her the information, she's eating a station box lunch she got before we hopped on the train. And I'm telling you, she's really chowing down on it.

You: That'll be the getaway route. After we get passed the gates at Hanada, we'll swap with Mizuki and... (sigh)

I look up and she seems like she's paying attention to her food more than to the mission route details.
