Chapter 4.5: Owl

(Your POV)

We've arrived at the Aquarium.

Chisato: Haha! We're here!

I observe everything around me as I actually never been to an Aquarium. Everything seems so relaxed and calm, but at the same time a bit exciting.

Chisato: Isn't this place beautiful? I love it here!

You: Do you come here often?

Chisato: Yup!

Chisato took out a card from her purse that had the name of the Aquarium here. "Aqua Park".

Chisato: Annual Pass! If you'd like, I can get you one too!

You: No thanks.

Chisato: Hmph, suit yourself. Let's get walking!

Before we started observing the fishes, Chisato grabbed my hand again and started humming. We started off with the Sea Horses, which looked intriguing. I take out my phone as this place has a website that talks about all the fishes we'll see here. I scroll through at the start and see the section for Sea Horses

You: Hmm...

Chisato: What's wrong?

You: Apparently, this Sea Horse, right here... is a fish?

Chisato: (Gasp) What~ No way~ You call yourself a fish?

Chisato and I get closer to the glass as we both examine this Horsea.

You: I wonder if there's a practical reason it evolved to look like this.

Chisato: Huh? Practical reason? What? You're sure?

You: Positive. I'll look more into it when we get home.

After a bit of looking around, we come across a large tank filled with garden eels. I let go of Chisato's hand and went up close to the tank. I was very interested in the eels.

You: These spotted garden eels are... fish too?! Weird. Hey, Chisato- What the...

I turn to Chisato and see she's imitating the motion of these eels.

Chisato: Eel~

You: Why are you doing that?

Chisato: Huh? I'm a spotted garden eel...

You: Um...

I look around the room and see that people are looking at Chisato with weird faces.

You: People are staring. Don't do things that stand out.

Chisato: Huh? Why not.

You: Because you're a Lycoris, and I'm a Lilybell. We'll get noticed if-

Chisato: When I'm not wearing a uniform I am not a Lycoris. Same goes with you Mr. Lilybell, come.

She elegantly hugged my arm and pulled me to the next tank. We continued to look around the aquarium and from time to time, Chisato would stand right in front of a fish tank  and pretend to be a garden eel. It was kind of cute honestly that she's doing it but if I'd do it, it'd be weird and embarrassing.

We came across a big fish tank, one with seats in front of it. I sat down and watch the fish swim by as Chisato stayed standing, doing the Spotted Garden Eel dance.

You: Question.

Chisato: Yes, love?

You: Those bullets, just how long have you been using them?

Chisato stopped doing her eel dance and sat down next to me.

Chisato: Where'd that question come from?
