Chapter 6.5: Weakness

(Your POV)
(Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!)

My alarm clock on my phone goes off and I shut it off, still a bit drowsy as I did it with one eye open. After I turned it off, I yawn and stretch.

You: Huh?

I suddenly feel something on top of me start to shift after I stretched. I freak out a bit and rub my eyes before I lift up my blanket.

You: What the...

Chisato: Mmm.... Is it morning?

You: CHISATO?!

Chisato: Nng! Hey, keep it down... My ears...

I'm baffled to see Chisato actually snuck in under my blanket and cuddled with me for however long and I didn't even notice.

You: Why are you-

Chisato: Geez, what's the big whoop? There's no way I'm not taking the opportunity to sleep with my boyfriend while he's living with me, that's just insanely dumb...

She buries her face into my chest and hugs me tighter. I'm red in the face and extremely flushed.

You: Um... Hey, isn't it time to get ready?

Chisato: (Laughs)

She lifts her head up at me and smiles.

Chisato: We start in the afternoon at 3:00pm~ I asked Teach to schedule us later than usual, that way I have the whole morning to snuggle up with you, hihihi~!

You: S-seriously?!

She starts to crawl towards my face. She's now resting on my pillow with her face close to mine now and her arms wrapped around my neck.

Chisato: Let's just go back to sleep~

You: B-but, shouldn't I make breakfast?

Chisato: Just make brunch, c'mon it's still early in the morning, let's enjoy this moment.

You: Uh, okay then

I calm myself down and slowly wrap my arms around her waist. A bit hesitant, though I still am able to do it, I pull her closer and snuggle into her shoulder. I take in her strawberry scent and body warmth, which relaxes me and my eyes start to get heavy and I go numb.

You: (This sensation...)

With her scent, her warmth and her on top of me, I feel like I'm wrapped up under a weighted blanket and the next thing I know, I'm fast asleep.

You: (Hmm...)

This is the second week I've been living with Chisato and again, we divided the chores by playing Rock, Paper, Scissors. Like last time, it was 14 games and again, she won all 14. It makes no sense how the odds are in her favor.

You: Hmm...

Mizuki: What's up with you?

You: I just can't win.

Mizuki: Win?

You: Chisato and I are splitting up chores by playing Rock, Paper, Scissors, but I can't ever win against her.

Mizuki and Mika stare at each other for a bit and then look at me.

Mizuki: Is she using the rock comes first rule?

Mika: You can't win against Chisato with that.

You: Huh?

They catch my attention fully.
