Victoria hurried through the forest, trying to find Bloom. Her mind was telling her that something was wrong and it was worrying her. She felt attached to the ginger for some reason, but she didn't know why. The girl has always been like this - she cared for people she lived with.

Suddenly she stopped in front of a barrier. Even though it was invisible, she could feel strong magic radiating from it. Victoria placed her foot beyond the barrier and after few seconds of thinking, she stepped out of the safe zone. She let out a sigh, carefully looking around the forest, in hope of finding Bloom close to the barrier.

After some time of walking, she saw a fire behind the trees. Victoria swore under her breath and quickly ran up to the source of the blaze. Her gaze caught a panicked Bloom shaking her hands, trying to get rid of the fire. The girl was panting, a petrified expression on her face.

"Bloom! It's okay, let's just calm down and not panic, okay?" Victoria spoke. She knew it was dumb to say those words, but she couldn't care less.

The ginger whimpered with tears in her eyes. "What are you doing here, just go!" She shouted, throwing fire balls on the ground. Bloom took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, but it wasn't helping. "Please, just go away!"

Suddenly a path of fire started to appear in front of her, making Vicroria gasp in shock. She outstretched her left hand, summoning a barrier of red energy in front of her, protecting the girl from the fire. Victoria twisted the other hand in a fist, making a red ball appear in the air. She aimed the orb at the fire Bloom was causing and lunged it forward, grunting in the result.

"How did you-" Bloom started, her chest raising up and down quickly.

Victoria grabbed her arm and pulled her with her. "It's not the time for that," She spoke as they hurried through the forest to get to the barrier. "You're lucky I stopped you, before something happened."

"Yeah, thanks for that," She gulped, feeling ashamed of herself. "I was just trying to figure myself out." Bloom stated, as they were walking down the path that was leading them to the castle.

The brunette girl nodded, sighing. Suddenly she felt guilty that she didn't go after Bloom earlier. Victoria felt responsible for her roommate's actions. "Bloom you need to be more careful with your magic."

"I know, it's just that... I've done magic once in my life and it was tragic," Bloom started, sniffling sadly. "So... my mom and I don't really get along. I know shocker. I'm not exactly the ideal daughter for her, she'd love a cheerleader, and I'm whatever the opposite of a cheerleader is." The girl confessed, making Victoria look her in the eye as they stood in front of the gates to the castle.

"Bloom... I'm sure your mom loves you the way you are." Victoria tried to reassure the ginger. Her chest was heavy, since she knew where this was going.

The ginger chuckled dryly. "Yeah... And some day, at night I couldn't fall asleep 'cause I was so mad, then it happened..." Bloom waved her hand, now tears falling from her eyes. "It was like the fire had a life of its own. And I just remember their screams, then every day after that night I just snuck out and slept in the old warehouse, until Miss Dowling found me. " Bloom confessed. Victoria got to know the truth, it was painful for her to feel Bloom's sadness.
