"Hey!" Carmen said and she hugged Nora
"Hey you!" Nora said smiling, Carmen sat on the bed next to her
"You okay?" Carmen asked and Nora nodded
"Yes fortunately I am fine and thankful for being alive!" Nora said laughing
"I was so scared! But now you are fine!" Carmen said smiling "And Raphael is fine thanks to his father"
"Yeah Lewis is an amazing person" Nora said
"Did you discuss about Raphael?" Carmen asked and Nora moved her head negatively
"Not yet he's in Canada now but he told me that he'll come back as soon as possible after the end of the Grand Prix, he'll stay for the interviews and then he'll come in Monaco" Nora said proudly "He texted me when he arrived in Montreal and I am so proud of him..."
"He is so proud of you as well! You made it!" Carmen said and she squeezed Nora's arm
"If Lewis wasn't maybe Raphael would die, he's two months old after all" Nora said with a breath of relief
"I might be pregnant" Carmen said and Nora took out a scream of happiness "I didn't get a test"
"Symptoms?" Nora asked happy
"My period is late a week now, morning sickness and mood changes!" Carmen said smiling
"Go to the super market and buy a test!" Nora said and she smiled, Carmen walked in the super market and Nora FaceTimed Lewis
"Hello my angel!" Lewis said smiling
"Hey babe... How are you?" Nora asked smiling
"I am good! I just ended my last meeting and now the Free Practice starts! What time is there?" Lewis said smiling
"The time here is 8! And there 2!" Nora said "Good Luck babe"
"Thank you so much I have to go! I love you!" Lewis said and he winked at her
"I love you too" Nora said and she hanged up, she grabbed the book "It ends with us"
I cry for Ryle. Because even though he's responsible for the situation he's in, I know how sad he is about it. And when you love someone, seeing them sad also makes you sad.
Neither of us brought up our separation or even a chance at reconciliation. We didn't even talk about what's going to happen when this baby is born in ten weeks.
I'm just not ready for that conversation yet and the least he can do for me right now is show me patience.
The patience he still owes me from all the times he had none.
Carmen walked in the room fifteen minutes later holding the test
"How are we doing that?" Carmen asked looking at the test
"You peed that!" Nora said laughing and they walked in the inside bathroom
"Okay!" Carmen yelled and she did the test, Nora was looking at her phone and Carmen came back holding the test "Tell me"
"Okay!" Nora said laughing and she looked at the test "Ah!" Nora screamed a bit "You are fucking pregnant!" Nora said and the two girls hugged
"Oh my God!" Carmen said crying "I want that baby so badly!"
"That's amazing! Raphael and your baby will be amazing friends!" Nora said smiling
"How should I announce that to George?" Carmen asked smiling
"Decorate your room with white balloons and place on the bed a baby bodysuit and the test, also a broad that says We are pregnant!" Nora said smiling
"That's so amazing! I will be a mother!" Carmen said almost crying "I wanted that so much!"
"You will be an amazing mother!" Nora said smiling "Now let's watch the Free Practice!" Nora said and she turned on the TV and the two girls watched the Free Practice
