"Oh my God, Miguel, you are, in fact, my lord and saviour."
I said.

He brought me in close with a smile.

"You are very much welcome."
He said, kissing me on the cheek.

"So, my darling, what would you like to do?"

Butterflies. Every time. That face. That smile. That voice. Those words. That personality. The combination should be illegal.

"I really don't mind, as long as it's with you."
I smiled.

He groaned.
"Y/N, you cannot keep doing that to me. I swear, if my heart rate gets any faster, it will be medically classed as a heart attack."

I laughed.

"Or that. That's just as bad."
He waved his pointer finger around in front of me to add to his point.

This only made me laugh more.

"That's not fair! Because literally just SEEING your face, or hearing your voice, or feeling your presence has that same effect on me!"
I said, completely honestly.

Miguel looked at me with an unreadable expression.

Before I could ask what was wrong, the expression was gone.

"Come on. I think I know exactly what we should do." He grabbed my hand and dragged me through the streets of Kalokairi.

"Miguel, Where are we going?"
I asked, as he guided me through masses of people.

He turned back towards me, a grin on his face.

"That is for me to know, and you to find out."
He winked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Don't do that! They'll get stuck!"

"You weren't even looking at me, how did you know-"

"I know you, Corazón."

We had a wonderful day, walking around the various beaches of Kalokairi, and collecting trinkets.

Miguel even said he'd teach me how to make these cool shell necklaces.

As we walked across my favourite beach, the one where we had our first kiss, we talked about the one part of the future we hadn't discussed.

"Do you ever want to get married?"
I asked.

"Yes."
Miguel replied, immediately.

"That was quick."
I said, smiling.

"Well, it's something I'm sure about. I always have been. I want to settle down somewhere, I don't really mind, get married to the woman I love and have a few kids. I've always had a pretty big family and we're all close. I enjoy that feeling of warmth."

I nodded, in thought.

"What about you?"
He asked.

"Pretty much the same. Except- I'm slightly more specific about the place."

He indicated for me to go on.

"This is where I want to be. To spend the rest of my life. I've been dreaming of coming here for years, it's been one of, if not my biggest goal in life for as long as I can remember."

Miguel nodded.

"So the idea of being in my favourite place, with my favourite person, and eventually, people? I can't think of anything better."

Miguel took my hand and yet again nodded, deep in thought.

Unfortunately, we both tired of walking (though I suspected that Miguel noticed the fact that I was tired, and decided to pretend that he was too, so I wouldn't feel guilty.)
