Wilson's POV:
I'm running in the darkness, trying to reach a dim light ahead of me. Something breathes on my shoulder just as I take a final leap onto that little square of light. I refuse to turn around, afraid of what I might see. The square in front of mine lights up. I get up and for a split second turn around to see a pair of glowing eyes following my every move. I shudder and start to walk forwards, following the glow of light. It seems to go on forever. All of a sudden it stops and the floor let's out under me. My scream gets caught in my throat. I can see the ground coming closer to me. I squeeze my eyes shut, ready for the impact. My heart is racing. I open my eyes and slam onto the cold cement floor. I feel no pain, only cold. The room is spinning and completely dark. I blink my eyes to clear my vision. Everything is blurry and bright lights float through my vision. I stand, weak on my legs and look around. I see nothing but darkness. Suddenly a light flashes on and Willow appears a little ways away. She looks terrified and her hand is shaking. I start running to her, extending my arm and beckoning her to come to me. She looks at me and screams, clicking on her lighter. I feel the shadows grabbing onto me, preventing me to go any closer. They pull me onto my knees and hold me still. Her body goes up in flames. She lets out a blood-curdling scream and falls quickly to her knees. She looks to be in so much pain. Her scream never stops. I try to pull away, but the darkness drags me into it. I hear it laughing, something harsh and full of joy. It makes me sick to my stomach. I want to pull away, but it hold me down. Willow is looking directly at me, fire licking at her face. Her whole body is charred and burned.

"Wilson," she screams. Her voice is full of pain and need. I reach out to her and a inky black hand pulls me back. "Wilson, help me!" I open my mouth to tell her everything will be alright and the shadows force their way into my mouth and down my throat. I chock on the blackness that is filling me. I try to close my mouth, but they force it to stay open. I finally force it closed, wanting to chock up the black that is now in me. Maxwell is standing behind Willow's fire, a bright smile on his face. He is starring down at me, enjoying my suffering. Willow's dead body begins to turn into ash. Pieces of her fly into the air and dissolve into the blackness. The flame goes out...forever. I'm left in darkness.

I don't move. I can barely breath and I can feel the darkness spreading through me. Looking into every pore of my being. Examining me. It picks and prods at me from the inside out. It feels like it is devouring me.

Suddenly the shadow grabs my hair and yanks my head to the side. Another light pops on. I can hear a little girl crying. She holds two flowers in her hands. I try to close my eyes, but the darkness forces my eyes open. I'm forced to watch. She glances over at me. I feel my heart beating harder. She doesn't have a face, just an empty space where her face should be. I try to turn my head, to no avail. She carefully lays both flowers on the floor in front of her. Immediately on begins to wilt. The faceless girl looks back at me.

"You could never save me, Wilson." she says. Her words are so clear and deep. She sounds like a child, very young. She pulls out a knife from her skirt pocket. I see Maxwell standing behind her, watching me silently. She pulls the knife far away from her body. I fight off the shadows and close my eyes as she releases a scream that makes me want to die. The hands pry my eyes back open. She is kneeling now, holding onto her side. She doesn't make a sound. I swallow hard. Her dead body inks out black mist. It floods out of her until she is nothing but a part of the endless darkness around me.

My body feels cold and numb. Darkness flood my vision and the shadows start to ink into my eye sockets. I shut them tightly. Searing pain running across my eyes. The cold starts drifting into me. My body begins to welcome it. Letting it take control. I feel it stinging at my last bit of sanity. My last hope. I drop my head again and the shadow let go. I fall and hold myself up with my arms. I open my eyes and look around. A single light is on. This time I watch, too defeated to resist the shadows.
