Diamonté laughed as she walked through the halls with her friend Lauren, she had just transferred to Stansfield university in new york. Previously, she was at UCLA in california but things got bad out there causing her father to switch her school immediately.
Her father davinci is one of the most notorious king pin's on the west side. Due to the dangers of being in the drug game davinchi always made sure diamonté was hidden. Nobody knew he had a child and nobody knew who diamonté parents were.
"i can't believe your here!" lauren squealed, they had met at a debate meet in high school. they were on opposing teams of course but they hit it off instantly.

"i knoww" diamonté said with a smile, this was her first time being back in new york since her 15th birthday when they visited. "and we have two classes together" lauren added happily.
"i'm glad i know atleast one person here" she said a bit relieved since she was a bit shy.
"i'll see you second period" lauren said with a small pout, she just knew they would be besties.
Diamonté gave her a smile before replying, "alright later" she said before they both separated.
As she walked the campus she noticed a bunch of stares, mostly from guys which was normal for her.
She ignored the stares for the most part until a tall lightskinned guy walked up to her causing her to pause her walk.
"wassam with you shawty?" he said causing her to cringe internally at his pickup line. "hey" she said simply as she crossed her arms, shifting her weight to one side.
"what's yo name?" he asked but before she could respond a tall brownskin guy walked up.
