Bakugou stared at me like I was an idiot.
"Why'd you do that?"
"I don't like seeing people uncomfortable."
"Is it 'cause your living mom did that stuff?"
"You could say that, but please don't worry about me! I'm over it now!"
"You sure as hell aren't."
"Don't worry!! I'm fine!"
"Stop lying to yourself."
Momo and Tokoyami's fight was quick.
She was knocked out of bounds.
"Poor Momo..."
I sulked for her.
I decided I was gonna comfort her.
"Bakugou, I'm gonna be back, let me know who wins!"
"Hell no! You google it!"
I chuckled and left.
I saw Momo in a room.
"Momo!"
"Oh, Yui!"
"Please don't blame yourself for what happened!"
"I won't!"
"I have to go soon, so I bought some chocolate for you! It helped me through more times than I can count, and I hope it helps you too!"
I ran in time to see Bakugou vs Ochaco.
I saw Bakugou coming out.
I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"Bakugou!! You got this!!"
"I know I do!"
I smiled.
I screamed again.
"Ochaco!! You can do this too!! I'm rooting for you!!"
I heard some whispers behind me.
"Since when were Bakugou and Yui close?"
I sat back down and watched the fight.
I could tell Ochaco's strategy was to take debris and try to aim at Bakugou with that, or touch it.
In her attempts at touching him, they weren't that bad.
He sent a ton of explotions.
A hero spoke up.
"How can you be a hero like that?! If there's a huge difference in abilities, you should just send her out of bounds! Stop bullying the poor girl!"
Someone else spoke up.
"Yeah yeah!"
This pissed me off.
My quirk started activating, setting me and the chair on fire.
The crowd started booing.
I spoke up.
"Hey! To the moron who said that! You have no respect! He's letting Ochaco pick a fight and reach her full potential! It show's he respects her! If you can't understand that, why bother being a hero?!"
People went quiet and stared at me.
The camera focused on me.
"The point of this competition was to let us students reach our full potential and learn from combat! If we can't do that because it's 'bullying' why bother with the sports festival in the first place?"
Aizawa spoke up.
"I agree with that statement. Bakugou's acknowledging how this student is stong and has made it this far. He can't let his guard down. To the hero that said that, I suggest packing up your things and switching careers, because you're clearly unqualified."
Ochaco charged at Bakugou once more.
"Thanks Bakugou, for not letting your guard down."
Ochacho did it! She's going to put debris in the air and attack him that way!
I did a little cheer for her.
The debris started falling around the place.
Ochaco fell.
She couldn't get up.
I started bawling for her.
"Why!!!!"
When Bakugou got back, people were saying stuff about how he was bullying Ochako.
Tsu said something that killed my self esteem.
"Yui, weren't you cheering for him? You even spoke up for him."
