I was in an empty hallway trying to forget what happened.
This included my childhood as well as Eri.
School was over, and I was near a half open window.
I heard shuffling behind me, and turned around to see Amajiki.
He appeared nervous and embarrassed.
He handed me a box of takoyaki before shuffling away.
I could tell he was trying to lift my spirits, and to be fair, it did.
The next day, we had to decide what to do about the school's festival.
I wasn't paying attention to the discussion, and took a nap.
I couldn't sleep recently, so it was really refreshing.
Later, Mirio told me to visit Eri since she's awake now, and I ran towards the hospital with a teddy bear.
When I saw her, I put the teddy bear down next to her, and gave her a hug.
She didn't react much, and asked me my name.
"Me? I'm Yui!"
"Yui?"
"Mhm! Oh! Also, here's a gift!"
I handed her the teddy bear, and she looked at it weird.
"This bear's gonna be your best friend, okay? When me, Midoriya, or Mirio can't be there, this bear's gonna listen to anything you want!"
I talked to her about all the stuff we could do once she could be released, and I saw a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
Visiting hours were almost over, so before I left, I decided to let her know I'd be there for her
"Eri, if you ever want someone to talk to, tell Eraser head you wanna see Yui, and I'll be there as fast as I can!" I waved before leaving.
I couldn't tell for sure, but I think Eri was happy.
Something about the way the corners of her eyes weren't drooping as much.
