Flame burns well then gives off smoke- the spell with work good at first, but other problems may arise
Flame gives off smoke then burns well- things seem difficult at first then will improve
Flame goes out before the spell I complete- you are not using the right spell

Black smoke: evil forces, physical or spiritual or even forces that want the opposite of what you are asking, work with focused intention. You have to surpass these forces

-White tea light
-Salt
-Paper and pen
Step 1: remove candle from the holder
Step 2: put salt in the holder
Step 3: write a sigil or rune on paper and put it in the salt
Step 4: put the candle back in the holder and light. Let it burn completely
