We were still at the bar just talking away most of the night. 'Where did you go to high school?' Meredith asked 'Roosevelt here, then in Colorado I went to Columbine.' I said 'What year did you graduate?' Cristina asked '1998.' I replied 'So you missed the shooting by a year. That's pure luck.' she said then I took a sip 'Yeah.' I replied. Owen put his hand on my shoulder. After a little while longer I decided I needed to go home and unpack and sleep because I had work again the next day. 'Bye guys.' I said and started to walk out 'I'll walk you home.' Alex said 'Okay.' I said and smiled, we started to walk down the street 'When did Owen and Cristina get married?' I asked 'A while ago, they're off and on though.' he replied 'Shocked he didn't tell me.' I said then we got to my building 'Wanna come up?' I asked 'Sure.' he replied. We went up to my apartment and we sat on my couch and just talked and talked and talked. We talked about tattoos, stupid stories, drunk stories, just everything.

'In one of these boxes I have a picture of me with the fish on the rod and I'm crying in it.' I said as he's laughing in my face 'It was really scary.' I said and smacked his arm playfully 'Let's find it.' he said 'Yeah?' I asked 'Yeah.' he replied. We spent an hour going through the boxes to find it. When we finally found it we looked at the other pictures too 'Who's that?' he asked 'My younger sister, that's when we got matching tattoos.' I said rolling up my sleeve to show him the starfish tattoo. We looked at a couple more 'You look mad in that.' he said 'I think that's when I got into my first fight.' I said then flipped the picture over 'Yup. "Angels first fight"... I think it was with Margaret's boyfriend too.' I said trying to think of it 'Yup! It was when he called me stupid, I think. I don't know it was second grade.' I said 'Second grade? Rebel child over here oh my god.' he said laughing.

We ended up falling asleep on my living room floor. We woke up and went to work and had our day. Half way through my shoulder and thigh started to hurt 'Robbins I need to go sit down for a minute.' I said 'You okay?' she asked 'My shoulder and thigh hurts.' I said 'Did you do physio therapy?' she asked 'Yeah until like four years ago.' I said leaning against the railing on the wall. I was holding back tears, the pain was always bad. 'Do you want me to take a look?' she asked 'Please. Just don't judge. I know you won't but everybody does.' I said then we went down the hall to an on call room. She closed the door and I took my pants and shirt off so she could look 'Was it broken?' she asked 'Shattered. Both of them. I have a metal rod in my leg.' I said. Callie walked in 'Oh my god. Arizona what are you doing?' She asked 'She had a rod placed in her leg and a shattered shoulder.' she said 'When was the rod put in?' Callie asked '99.' I said and whined in pain. 'This happens whenever I put too much pressure on it.' I said. Callie squeezed my shoulder  and fixed the pain by pushing on it 'Wheelchair, crutches, forearm crutch, cane... you might have to use those.' Arizona said 'Please just grab my bag. Alex knows where I keep it.' I said then Callie walked out.

'Alex thinks you're good. You are good, but he doesn't get along with people or think they're great. I think he actually likes you.' Arizona said handing me my shirt 'Thank you. He's a good guy, he cares about the kids. Not because he has to but because he wants to.' I said then we heard Alex yelling 'Well if she's not okay I want to know!' he said then walked in behind Callie. He handed me my bag 'He wouldn't let me touch it.' Callie said 'Thank you.' I said and dumped my purse out and looked for my meds.

I took my pain meds and my anxiety meds then I sat for a couple minutes before standing up and putting my pants back on 'Do you have time to see if the rod is good or not?' I asked Callie 'Yeah. Let's do it right now.' she said then we went up and checked 'It's worn out, whoever put it in did it wrong.' she said 'That explains the pain.' I said then Owen walked in 'What's wrong? I heard you were in pain.' he said 'I'm fine. My rod is just bent and put in wrong. Callie, is this something I can live with?' I asked 'I recommend fixing it within the next couple months. Two to three then it's just damaging you.' she said 'I'm gonna settle down first, get my first few paychecks then can we fix it? Because I've been in pain since I got it in.' I said 'Get it done now, it's been hurting for how many years now? Evan, get it fixed within the next couple weeks.' Owen said.

Owen and I argued back and forth for about 20 minutes before he stopped 'I have my apartment to pay for too.' I said 'You're getting it done on May 1st. Torres and I will do it.' He said 'Okay.' I replied then I went back to work. I did my rounds until I was finally done. I went home and started to unpack the boxes. Finally putting the books on the shelves, the clothes in my closet, the pots and pans in the cupboards. I put the lamps and paintings and mirrors and plants and pictures up. I decorated. Did it take me a week? yeah. But it was worth it.
