Silky- where the hell did I keep my earrings? God damnit!

I am pacing around the whole apartment for half an hour, finding my earrings. I literally have to leave in 2 hours for Jeju. I can't miss my flight or else Aera will kill me, tomorrow is her engagement, I have to be there on time. 

Aera is my best friend she is Indian, she moved to Korea with her parents when we were kids and now she is getting married. She decided to do a destination Indian wedding in Jeju. I have packed everything except that pair of earrings. Where is it? did I check my nightstand? yeah, nightstand! 

I checked my nightstand and found it, Finally! I quickly stuffed it in my bag, my phone rang and I picked it up.

Mom- Hello? Silky!

Silky- Yeah! 

Mom- I will be there to pick you up in an hour, so be ready and DO NOT FORGET ANYTHING?!

Silky- Okay! eomma, I will check everything, don't worry!

Mom- Ok then bye! See you!

Silky- Bye! mom 

I ended the call and recall everything, my schedule for the next few weeks is clear. I literally have to beg for that. I would have to work so hard after returning. "Anyways! Silky forget about it and just enjoy the holiday! "

My doorbell rang and I went to open it! I saw Mom standing there with her handbag. She came inside 

Silky- Eomma I miss you!

I hugged her like a child from behind, most of my weight was on her, I haven't seen her in months, but after seeing her I realized how much I missed her. 

Mom- oh! I missed you too, but leave me you are heavy

Silky- OH sorry! Now come on I will you around my apartment, it's the first time you came here.

I held her by her shoulder and dragged her to the living room, my living room was kinda messy because of all the packing

Silky- This is the living room.

I said proudly

Mom- How can you be so messy!

she pointed, I pouted 

Silky- cause I was packing, leave it and come I will show you around

I showed her my whole apartment, We still have some time before we have to leave for the airport, so I made us some ramen, while we chat in the kitchen, I was making ramen and Mom was standing beside me. I love spending time with her.

Mom- You have a huge frame of us in the living room! why?

Silky- cause I wanna see your face daily, I really miss you! why don't you just move in with me?

I asked Mom who lives 1 hr away from here, so it is really difficult for me to meet her frequently. 

Mom- I like our old house, it's near my office besides, you are mostly out of town. So what's the point

Silky- but eomma, I would like to see you every time I return from somewhere. Anyways! it would be selfish of me to do so.

I said pouting, I really act like a kid around her

Mom- It is not called selfish, I know what you went through last month and I am really proud that you were brave enough to reply to haters. ( she is talking about the part from "savage Live" )
