It's about 2:30 pm, slow day for news which is both good and bad. My show AC360 would begin in a few hours. Most people think I'm probably really busy with work all the time but at the moment my "busy" was just sitting playing with a pen. My blackberry, which is what my producer used to update me on stories and other things had buzzed. I picked it up and read the text which said "Major Storm coming to New York City and most of the East Coast". Well this wasn't really new, everyone always makes the storms up to be something huge and it usually results in something not nearly as bad. Then you have angry, annoyed, and complaining people. I don't like to do this but it's the News business. So I called my producer and I asked what was up.
"Anderson we have a colossal storm heading towards NYC, we're gonna have to send you to report there this evening".
I enjoy it so I wasn't upset about the change of plans, plus who knows maybe there would be a good storm.
"Alright. Sounds good. When is this storm supposed to happen?" I asked.
"Well we're not sure just sometime this evening, maybe around 8:00?" he said unsurely.
