It was another boring Friday morning for Scarlett she took a sip of her black coffee while scrolling through social media and not listening to Kate blabbering something about why she thinks Scarlett is a psychopath
"You aren't listening. Are you?" Asked kate
"I was wondering if we should have a sleepover like every Friday" Scarlett said
"Of course. Why? Do you not want to have a sleepover? " Kate asked
"You know James and his sister live in the apartment next to me" Scarlett sighed "so I was wondering if we should invite them over too" Scarlett continued
"In the apartment with 20 floors?" Kate asked enthusiastically
"yes" Scarlett said
"Cool! We should definitely invite them" Kate said happily
The door opened and they saw James Scarlett hated to admit the fact that he looked too attractive today
"Hey James! Come here sit with us!" Kate called James he walked over, waved at them and sat on the chair next to Scarlett
"Hey Scarlett" he smirked at Scarlett "oh and hi to you too Kate" he smiled at Kate. Scarlett didn't know why he smirked at her did he see her blush? There's no way, right?
"Scarlett and I have sleepovers every Friday so we were wondering if you wanted to come to her house as you guys live nearby and you guys are great friends too!" Kate blurted out Scarlett glared at Kate she knew Kate wanted James and her to hook up like girl went straight to the point!!!!
"Sure, I'd love to" James said smiling scarlett felt happy her dear 'friend' was coming over and you know how much scarlett loves James as a 'friend' they're amazing 'friends'
"Well that's great maybe we can watch a romcom the whole night ooooh i looooove romcoms" Kate says winking at scarlett
"They're cheesy and unrealistic, but they're ok ig" Scarlett says glaring at Kate
"I like them too. So, what's your favourite rom-com trope Steph" James says looking at Scarlett it's weird that he remembered her middle name and is calling her by that and why is he asking her first and not kate? Ooooh
"Oh I really like enemies to lovers but i hate when the nerdy girl and the CEO of some big random company fall in love like commoner x billionaire make no sense to me" Scarlett says
"Ikr that's dumb tbh like it doesn't even happen in real life" James said agreeing with her
"If it did I wouldn't be sitting here working my ass off some random billionaire would've been feeding my dumb ass oreos" Scarlett said
"What if we were dating? I mean you're a commoner I'm a billionaire" James asked as this question was eating him up and it made Scarlett blush soo hard like why are they soooo obvious
"T-that would be s-strange and if we were d-dating I-" Scarlett tried to say something but Kate Interrupted her
"Uhmm... Am I the only one who has no idea why the hell James is calling Scarlett Steph?" Kate asked widening her eyes like wtf Kate stop ruining this for all of us we love ya girl but pleaseeeee
"Oh it's my middle name Stephanie so he calls me Steph" Scarlett said rolling her eyes
"We should also invite Kelly" Scarlett said trying to change the subject
"I'll tell her when I reach home" James said he glaces at his watch "see you guys later bye" He got up and waved at them but he was looking at Scarlett and Scarlett only looking at your 'great friend' doesn't suck that much ehhhh
"Ugh you need to stop ruining moments" Scarlett said as soon as she saw James leave
"What do you mean?" Kate asked narrowing her eyes
"Just leave it" Scarlett sighed
"We should also go now" Kate said looking at the time at her phone because Kate is more of a bracelet person than a watch person
"Yeah you're right" Scarlett sighed again
