Usually Catacombs are places of death and memories.
In our case however no one knows what lies in the catacomb.
Many children's fables narrate of monsters, blood and gardens of roses.
Maybe some of them are truthful or maybe they are the result of some madman speech.
Whatever is the reality, Lavil soon will see it.
May the catacomb protect him.

"Why are we here?" asked the chained boy.
"Don't ask and walk faster" answered a hooded figure with shoulder wide as
the moldy tunnel.
Than a few steps later the man stopped roughly.

"For God's sake WHA…” started yelling the boy while blood was dripping from his nose.
The big man however ignored his
complains and placed his rough hand on the boy neck.
"That's your stop Lavil, welcome to the Riviere Catacomb"
Before throwing Lavil outside the tunnel the burly man smiled at him with his yellow teeth.
That smile creeped the soul of the boy
and in the next moment his feet didn't
touch the stone floor anymore.
“No, pleasss..!”
One scream and Lavil was outside the
tunnel. With that last sound he fainted covered by his own tears and blood.

Where the boy landed there weren’t
anymore dripping stones or mold.
The smell was always putrid but the
view was astonishing, creeping and
solemn at the same time.

The oil lamps were nowhere to be seen.
In their stead, there were wood torches burning high on the walls.
Dancing shadows were created by the fire.
Some of them particularly alive and,
covered by these shadows, regained
consciousness the chained boy.

Levil needed a few seconds to realize
the reality of the situation he was in.
But the moment he did the horror
rained on his body.
He tried to scream but his own voice
was too afraid in the face of four high white columns.
These ones were entirely made of skulls.
Some big as a grown man head some tiny as a child one’s.
“I’m dead” whispered the chained boy.

"Welcome rose"

Lavil didn't heard a word, it was like to be in the water for him.
“My rose?” Asked another time the voice.
"What...HEY!"
Screamed the boy while jumping and
trippin down in the chains.
"Welcome my rose" greeted a woman figure for the second time.
"Who are you?" Stuttered Lavil.
"The guardian my rose".

Levil didn't believe in what he saw.
A tall and slim naked woman smiling at him.
She had long black hair decorated with a diadem of red roses and pointed stems.
The most eye catching thing however
was her tender smile that reached a pair of red eyes.
"Can you walk my rose?".
She asked with maternal love.
Levil didn't answered but started to
get on his feet and unsteadily walk to her.

"Very good my rose"
Smiled the beauty while indicating a
point in the center between the columns.
"The garden is waiting".

For Levil mind he was already dead.
So he moved towards the columns and to be precise, towards a garden of roses.
"That’s an hallucination or the afterlife?"
He thought.
"Let me introduce you to the garden my rose"
Said the naked beauty while resting her hands on the slim belly.
In that moment Levil felt something
crawling near his feet. He looked down and saw a little pointed vine.

It crawled slowly and tangled itself to
his ankle.
"The garden likes you my rose".
“That’s…good?”
"what does it mean!?" asked a startled
Levil when the vine crawled over his body and opened the chains.

"The garden doesn't like them"
She answered while smiling.
The next moment Levil didn't saw her
anymore.
The vines pulled him under the
soil while tangling on his neck.
For a few moments there was movement under the garden, then quiet.
"Your garden grows more beautiful
another time my little one"
Said the woman while caressing her belly.
A new rose was now blooming in  the green.
"I wonder when will come the next
rose".
