Kurai replied in his deep voice "No I will slayer the phantoms today too" (so this world has phantoms) you thought. Kimiko Sama replied "Aw I wanted you to spend time with y/n" Kurai looked at you coldly you looked at him too, you just rolled your eyes and went away from there leaving Kurai in shock.

Kimiko Sama spoke "Y/n got shy" Kurai gritted his teethes (her attitude is changed... it was more annoying) Kurai thought. You were in your room thinking you have to get away from here, you rubbed your forehead aggressively...

A maid knocked at your door. you inhaled and exhaled and told her to come in. As you opened the door Kurai walked passed glancing at you, you looked at him and gritted your teethes once again Kurai got pissed off (I swear I will kill her someday) thought Kurai.

The maid came in, you closed the door... she came to you and slapped you, you fell on the ground holding your cheek (a definite demon's slap of course that was supposed to happen but why) you thought. The maid locked the door took out a straightener and started to burn you didn't make a single expression...instead, you just let her abuse you which made the maid angry. But then the maid grabbed your hair and started to hit your forehead on the wall which made you bleed from your head.

The maid said "Do you know why I am doing this to you?" you shook your head the maid responded "Because I love his majesty and I hate the fact you will get married to him so you know I will ruin your face even if it causes my life"

You nodded thinking that you might not marry him. Your honest nod made her angry. The maid went away from there while you said to yourself in a blurry tone "Why....is it...always me....."

*thud*

You collapsed on the ground. Hearing those weird noises from your room Kurai came inside and saw you bleeding from your nose and forehead with bruises on your hands and neck. (tch she can't even protect herself) Kurai thought Kimiko Sama came inside the room too as she saw you, and she quickly came to you while Kurai was standing looking at you all heartlessly, Kimiko Sama swiftly put her palm on your heart and closed her eyes as she did all the bruises healed and your bleeding stopped while Kurai went from there.

She picked you up and gently put you on the bed.

After a while, you opened your eyes. You saw Kurai sitting beside you. You quickly flinched your head was aching very hard you couldn't see Kurai. (Why did Mother leave me with this weakling) thought Kurai. You asked "Why are you here??" he responded "I am the king I will go wherever I want I don't need some weakling's permission" You glared at Kurai and said "I let them abuse me on purpose" Kurai raised his left eyebrow and questioned "Who did it?" you hesitated but then answered "maid...."

Kurai gritted his teethes and said "It was a maid and you let her do that to you, you're such a pitiful girl" Your face turned gloomy and you asked, "Why the heck you are marrying me!?" Kurai sighed and said "Because mother liked you don't stay in the hope that I love you" You grinned and said "Why would I hope such things to the person I don't love a bit" (did this abuse cause damage to her brain till tomorrow she was looking at me so lovingly damn I hate her) thought Kurai.

You thought for a second but then kissed Kurai on his forehead. Kurai flinched and said "HOW DARE YOU DID THAT" You seemed sad yet you looked at Kurai with all love and replied "I hate you please marry me and understand the pain that I know a human can not so a demon would" With that, you closed your eyes and tears fell in a flow from your eyes.

Kurai was shocked, and surprised, and still showed you his heartless expression and said "A demon will never understand a single feeling don't abuse yourself mentally" You still smiled and Kurai left your room. As he left your smile turned into a cold expression and you rubbed your tears.

As Kurai came out of your room his heartless expression turned into a guilty face.

You both thought (I hate her/him)

Kurai was in his office he called all the maids and asked "Who did that to y/n?" a maid said "I did it" Kurai came to the maid and choked her neck she vanished in thin air and Kurai told everyone to leave.

It's not that Kurai did that because he loves you but he did that all because of her mother.

At that moment Kimiko Sama entered the room and smiled at Kurai she said "Kurai dear, love y/n show her affection she is important" Kurai asked, "Why is she special?" Kimiko Sama replied "...I see the future in her eyes I told you before she will lead our generation and she will be the most powerful person standing beside my strong son" Kurai responded, "Mom she was not a demon before...."
