Kurai gently smiled thinking now you might've been better after all a lot of burden comes off your shoulder just because of a single hug or few words.

You realized that your feelings towards him are up and down you don't know which feelings to show him.

Your head was a mess...

On a usual morning, you woke up and saw kurai was sleeping, you sighed and went to the bathroom to change...you got out and kurai was still sleeping peacefully.

(He looks shy when he's sleeping) you thought.

You got near kurai and shook him up softly. "Kurai, wake up it's morning," you said in a cold tone. Kurai hummed and changed position. You got angry and kicked him on his back "Ow!" kurai groaned in pain as he looked at you "Just how the hell did you even become queen" kurai said. You glared at him. He gulped and went to the bathroom.

You were brushing your hair, he got out of the bathroom, and kurai saw you. He came closer and took the brush from you "H-hey!" you said. Kurai started to brush your hair gently. you said "Why do you keep changing, it's confusing me and my mind too" you saw kurai's sadness appearing on his face. You saw it.

"y/n just give me some time I am not sure about my feelings towards you myself sometimes I feel delighted to have you but sometimes I just want you to disappear" You got shocked hearing those words, you slightly smiled and didn't reply as you never knew how to comfort another person.

Days passed by you and kurai never really showed any honest feelings, you both sometimes got cold and sometimes got sweet.

One day when you were in the dining room with kurai having tea a maid came to you both. "Forgive me for interrupting but his majesty miss. Inari has arrived. You raised your eyebrow. Kurai replied "Please guide her here" The maid bowed and went away.

"Who is Insari?" you asked out of curiosity. Kurai replied "She is just two ranks below us I arranged a meeting with her...I would be glad if you stay here after all she has never met you" You nodded and questioned "Was she not at the ceremony?" kurai responded "No she was traveling when our ceremony was held"

Inari is 48 years old...

She came into the dining room as you took a glimpse of her you couldn't believe your eyes. You got shocked which made Inari and kurai confused. The cup in your hand fell on the ground. You said while trembling "Y-you"

Inari raised her eyebrow...kurai said to you "Y-y/n you're trembling what's wrong?" the last words you heard were of kurai as you fainted....but kurai grabbed you by your waist so that you don't hit the ground....he got worried and started breathing heavily while calling your name.

Inari didn't bother and just sat on a chair. Kurai lifted you in a bridal style and took you to the bedroom.

Kurai quickly called his doctor...after he was done checking up on you he went to kurai...kurai started to ask questions all worried "Doctor is she okay? Is it something too serious?" The doctor smiled and replied "She is totally fine it was just a little panic attack just thank god it wasn't serious...she will wake up sooner or later" Kurai took a breath of relief and thanked the doctor.

The doctor went away and kurai sat beside you all day....it was soon 1:00 am you were still not awake and kurai was getting sleepy. He just slept while sitting on the chair.... sometime later you slowly blinked your eyes, you saw the time (is it already 1:30 am) you thought. You took a glimpse beside you and saw kurai sleeping cutely.

You flinched...he was sleeping so peacefully. You decided not to wake him up and let him sleep beside you.

In the morning you woke up first and kurai was still sleeping in the same position...you patted his head. He had silky hair. "k-kurai wake up," you said.

Kurai hummed and opened his eyes. He looked at you all shocked and hugged you tightly "Y/n! thank god you're awake".
