You're My Terminus
(ZHANYI -Wattpad)
•••••••••YIBO POV
"Promise? What promise?"
"A promise to give their Bobo as our A-Zhan's bride."
"What!!?" I must say that my eyes widened when I heard that, Zhange and mine's marriage was already fixed?
"But years later I came back home and started searching for your family's whereabouts, but at last what I got was news of sad death of my friends. After hearing that, I was completely distressed. And my next search was to find you with Zhan's help and arrange your marriage. But luck didn't favor me A-Zhan refused to marry you and left my side saying he was going to marry someone else. When I lost all hope and worried that I could not fulfill my promise to my deceased wife and friends, like a miracle, they brought you before my eyes and that too became my son-in-law. With the good news that you are going to give me a grandchild." He hugged me tightly and kissed my forehead, "My baby, I am so happy to see you. This old man can't get any other happiness than this." He pulled away from the hug and looked at my face with joy.
"What did you say? A while ago, uncle was arguing with the doctor that uncle is not an old, how did you suddenly become old man now?" I asked with a smile but he didn't answer me either instead he just looked at my face. My smile started to fade a little because when he didn't answer I thought maybe he didn't like what I asked. " I'm sorry.... if I took more liberties...."
"No, no, never my Jun's son has full freedom in me just like my son. You can call me uncle or Dad whatever you want." He caressed my cheek. "You know, you're a carbon copy of my Jun, but you have a cute smile like your mother Ming." Hearing that, my eyes started watering again. "No, bobo, don't cry , now smile and live happily." I nodded.
"Don't you have any problem with me, as a boy who giving birth to your grandson?" There are very few boys in this society who can give birth like me. I wanted to know that, no matter how much my parents were his friends, apart from the promise he had made in the past, he would accept me wholeheartedly as his son's husband and my child as his grandchild?
"Why should I have a problem? You are very special person to me like your mother. I protected him like a brother and I want to protect you like my own son. You got this special ability from your mother. When you were born, we knew you had this ability." I nodded. I must say that his reply calmed my inner mother. I don't want my baby to be a laughingstock to others.
"Will Zhange remember me?" I know this is a stupid question but out of curiosity I couldn't help but ask.
"He may remember you, but it may not be obvious because we have been gone for a long time. He was only 11 years old then." He took my hand. "Hmmm....I'll tell you one of his secrets",I looked at him curiously. "When you first came into his life, he was very jealous of you."
"Why him?" I wondered.
"Your parents are orphans. There are a few distant relatives who were not in favor of your parents' same-sex marriage. So after their marriage they had no one to support them except us. Your parents stayed with us for 2 years after your birth. Zhan is our only son. He was six years old when you were born. Ming didn't have enough experience to take care of you when you were a baby, so you were mostly with my wife when you were a baby." It made me smile to hear that my late mother-in-law took care of me when I was a baby. "Zhan felt as if a sudden baby was taking away his mother's love from him. But after a few days when he adjusted to you, he started loving you." I smiled. "But when you were 2 years old, your parents moved to another house. A-Zhan was very sad to part with you that day, and seeing the unbreakable love between you, my wife on her deathbed expressed to your parents that she wished to marry you both, in the hope that our family would remain one forever.
