We went straight from the hospital to the police headquarters.

"Kitten? what's wrong with you? Why are you silent? Do you feel any pain or discomfort anywhere? Shall we go to the hospital?"

Oh again... I rolled my eyes. Ever since we left the hospital, Zhange started asking questions like this one by one. In the half hour until we reached headquarters, he must have asked me at least ten times if there was anything wrong with me or if I was in pain anywhere. If he's like this in just half an hour's drive, my head spins thinking, how many questions he'll be asking in the months leading up to my delivery.

Zhange started behaving like this after the doctor told me that there must be some complications during this pregnancy period and delivery.

Uncle was there when we reached the police headquarters. I didn't wait for Zhange and hurried to Uncle's side. Right behind me, Zhange and Cheng Gege came to Uncle's side.

"A-Cheng, will you come with me? " Uncle asked.

"Yes, uncle."

"I am also coming with you." I told uncle.

"Yibo ?" Zhange called me but I ignored him.

"What happened my baby? are you ok? What Ziyi said?" Uncle asked because of my behavior.

"Uncle, there is nothing to fear, he is perfectly healthy." Cheng Gege had to answer because Zhange didn't answer to uncle. Because he was looking at me sadly when he saw me neglecting him.

"Then what happened?" Uncle's brows frowned. He suspected that something had happened between us.

"Yibo said that because of Zhan and his over-protectiveness." Cheng Gege explained to Uncle everything that happened between the time we left the hospital and the time we arrived at the police headquarters.

Uncle laughed and patted my head.

"It's a feeling that any first-time became a father has. They become extra vigilant about the safety of their partner and the baby." Uncle smiled and patted Zhange's shoulder. "I am very happy that my son is more vigilant and caring about his husband and baby."

"Uncle....you too....?"

"Thanks Dad" Hearing what uncle said, Zhange's face, which was sad until then, brightened.
